In the late 90’s Pastor Matt Redman penned what soon became a Christian classic in churches across the globe. His song “The Heart of Worship” touches on an important truth. The Heart of worship is all about…the heart! Hearts that love God, his Gospel, his people. But authentic ‘heart’ worship like this isn’t always easy. Life gets in the way. Our sin bogs us down. God seems distant. This week we conclude our series on the life of David by exploring Psalm 138 and David’s heart that praised God, where we’ll explore how to foster a heart that worships God authentically and wholesomely.
