As my father has sent me so send I you John 20:21 “So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.””

Jesus said tarry here in Jerusalem Lk 24:49 ““Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.””

You shall receive power

Acts 1:8 “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.””

Power is more important than the sign

Antioch church prayed and sent Barnabas and Saul

1 Timothy 4:14 “Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.”
