Introduction
Introduction
Good day to each and everyone of you.
It is nice to be here in Marabella for the Commissioning of this new Health Centre.
Now if you look at your programs you would see that I am a nutritionist who works directly with our Beloved Minister of Health.
Now as a nutritionist my aim is to help you to see the importance of good health and thus if you take your health seriously you can avoid having to come to this Health Centre.
Yes we are grateful to have this health centre but I am sure that all of us would not like to have to visit here on a regular basis.
Today I woulike to speak to you on the topic - EMBRACE YOUR WEALTH THROUGH YOUR HEALTH
Body
Body
Many people today do not take their health seriously at all.
A friend of mine once told me that a man without a belly is like a house without a balcony.
Those are the words of someone who doesn’t take his health seriously.
I love the words of Gandhi who said “Health is the real wealth and not pieces of Gold and Silver”
First of all I want to let you all know that I made some very bad decisions in my life when it came to nutrition.
I am the type of person who always ate all the unhealthy food.
I am the type of person who would always be by the Cross buying a Bad Habit every weekend.
If you are listening to me today and you are also always buying a bad habit I want you to know that that is a BAD HABIT!
Today I want you to know that you have to be healthy in order to be wealthy.
Without your health, you cannot work and if you cannot work, you cannot get money and if you cannot get money then you cannot be wealthy.
You can have all the money in the world but if you do not have your wealth you cannot enjoy your money and your luxury.
3 things you can add to your diet is
EAT PLENTY FISH
EAT PLENTY FISH
Fish is a great source of protein and contains essential vitamins and minerals for a balanced diet. It’s advised to eat it twice a week, with at least one portion being oily fish, such as fresh salmon or mackerel.
Get your five a day
Get your five a day
You should aim to eat at least five different varieties of fruit and vegetables a day (this is much easier than you think!). To start, try swapping your mid-morning biscuit for a banana and palmful of nuts
Avoid too much salt
Avoid too much salt
Approximately three-quarters of the salt we eat is in the food we buy from the supermarket. As well as reducing the amount of salt you add to your meals at the table, you should also consider the amount of salt already added to pre-packaged foods like bread, soups and sauces. Too much salt can raise your blood pressure, which can lead to a stroke or developing heart disease.
Conclusion
Conclusion
If you would follow these 3 simple steps and add exercise to it, it would go a long way in helping you to be a healthy individual.

I would like to leave you with the words of “The doctors of the future will no longer treat the human frame with drugs, but rather will cure and prevent disease with nutrition.” – Thomas Edison
