God Loves this Church

Luke 12:32 NKJV

32 “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

1. Churches that go through a prolonged season of struggle, forget it is not the size of the Dog in the fight it is the size of the fight in the Dog.

Remember that this Church was not the will of man but the will of God.

often times we get tired when we are working to keep the doors of the Church open.

sometimes after we loose long the weekly fellowship of Church members, we feel lonely. after more than a few friends in a church.

it is easy to then feel embattled.

my pastor took over a small independent church 22 years ago. he was 28 at the time that he took the church over. in the first two weeks people largely because of their wounds, left the church. He had to “restart” the church with twelve people.

this church struggled for a few years. eventually this church found its people. this defined their outreach.

2. This Church is here because it is the will of God in Christ Jesus.

Matthew 16:18 NKJV

18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

once again, God is sovereign! This Church is of God's will not ours!

once again, when we talk about “Church” we are not talking about (Insert name of the Church you are speaking at here.) we are talking about people. we are talking about individuals, people, we are not talking about people that used to be here, we are talking about NOW! God has a plan for now!

Christ is the Rock, and Christ is who this Church is built on! and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

this means you! you are going to rise! like Easter Sunday morning kinda rise!

3. We are getting back to Jesus!
