Gentleness is a model of walking in the Spirit, a walk worth of our calling. Because of God’s grace, we show grace to others…we think before we speak; we consider others before we lash out;
We follow Paul’s directive: When we are angry, do not sin! How does that play out in practical terms? Here are a couple of “red lines”:

Is our anger appropriately directed?

The Degree of Anger

Is our anger under control, or is it controlling us? The old “count to ten” strategy has merit.

The Danger of Anger

A place for the devil…sun go down (the end of the day) allows us to stew; bitterness to creep in; the enemy to speak slanderous thoughts into our minds. 1 Tim 3:11...their wives must be reverent, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things.Titus 2:3the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers
