Key Points:
Apply principles of Genesis 1:28 to YOUR territory .
God will give you territory, you then must take it.
Begin by dividing the territory, and then conduct spiritual warfare and then establish structure.
If you do not have a garrison then the territory is not yours.
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
First principle: MAKE IT YOURS!
My family, my church, my city, my district
Until it is yours, you will not be responsible for it!
Pastor’s you are the bishops of your city, the apostles...
Fathers, you are the kings of your home…
Mothers, you are the priests of your home...
Families you are the garrison left in your neighborhood...
Church leaders, you are the pastors of the areas you lead...
Together that establishes a new jurisdiction that changes the spiritual hierarchy of a region!
Second principle: IT ALL BELONGS TO GOD, WE HAVE TO REPOSSESS IT!
God had already given Israel the land… 400 years prior when Abraham was walking around!
They had to possess it! Take it!
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Satan rules through jurisdictions.
As you go… to Walmart, to get gas, to the grocery store - as you mow your lawn, clean your house, work your job
As you do prayer walks, pray in your homes, in the church
You are claiming territory in your city!
Dealing with the spiritual jurisdictions
As you are teaching Home Bible Studies, knocking doors, sharing your testimony with the server, praying for your coworker
You are inciting Holy Rebellion in the jurisdiction of the enemy!
Divide your city:
Lay grids of 10,000 over your city and send out teams of twos to reach them.
Strategically and prayerfully
Should take about 60 days to knock on each door.
Making contacts, getting home bible studies.
Not asking to come to church.
“Hello, my name in Gene and I am from the Life Church of Lincoln. We have been doing prayer walks through this neighborhood for some time now, how can I pray for you and your family?”
Make notes including address, name, need or rejection.
We made a simple google doc that keeps track.
Next week we reconnect with the positive contacts and then make new.
Here is how we are doing this in Lincoln: population 292, 082 people
6 parks surrounding the church (within a mile). Focusing on the parks.
Tuesday night prayer walks
Midweek service and Saturday evangelism
Team go out on there own the rest of the week.
Handout
First cycle: 12 people (6 teams) - each team wins 2 (new) x 6 (jurisdictions) = 12 (new) + 12 (original) = 24
Second cycle: 24 people (12 teams) - win 3 x 12 = 36 + 24 = 60
Third cycle: 60 people (30 teams) - win 5 x 30 = 150 + 60 = 210
BY THE THIRD CYCLE I CAN KNOCK OF EVERY DOOR IN LINCOLN IN 60 DAYS!!!
30 teams x 10,000 doors = 300,000
Fourth cycle: 210 people (105 teams) - win 5 x 105 = 525 + 210 = 735
BY THE FOURTH CYCLE I CAN KNOW ON EVERY DOOR IN OMAHA IN 60 DAYS TWICE!
Fifth cycle: 735 people (367 teams) - win 5 x 367 = 1,835 + 735 = 2,570 (if win 10 = 4,405)
4,405 is a long way for 60,000!!!
Sixth cycle: 2,570 people (1,285 teams) - win 8 x 1,285 = 10,280 + 2,570 = 12,850
Seventh cycle: 12,850 people (6,425 teams) - win 8 x 6,426 = 51,400 + 12,850 = 64,250
20% of my city!
7-9 years!
Conclusion:
Bishop Powell: $1 representing representing 20% of their cities population
Bro. Alley: $.30
Bro. Daugherty: $.15
How do I reach Knox county Nebraska?
1,140 square miles with 8,701 people in it!
Rhode Island is 1,214 square miles (74 square miles larger) and has 1.6 million people in it!
I may never start a church there...
BUT I may start the church that starts the church that starts the church that starts the church...
