How many people looking for answers, but not using the tools God has given them?

How many people pray, but don’t hear God’s Answer

How many of us give up before God gives us the answer?

How Many of us are expecting quick answers to 20 years of bad choices / Habits made?

Let me read you something that most of you already have access to. The Word For You Today (March 18)

An angel shows John the punishment of the harlot who sits on the scarlet beast.

This harlot is the one with whom the people of the earth will commit adultery with. (Revelation 17:1-5).

Let’s look at some charts

I. The Judgment of Spiritual Babylon

Revelation 17:3 NKJV

3 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

John was taken away in the spirit to a desert and witnessed something very unusual. He saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast. It had seven heads and ten horns; this is the Antichrist.

Because the woman is sitting on the beast, I must conclude that her harlot religion and the Antichrist will exist on the earth at the same time in the Tribulation

At first, it seems as though the Antichrist will support her one world religion and be under her authority.

The relationship will soon deteriorate, and the woman’s double identity will hinder the relationship.

We must keep in mind that this woman is both the mother of the false religious systems, and Babylon’s great city.

From this conclusion, we understand that all three, the false religious system, the city of Babylon, and the Antichrist, will exist during the first half of the tribulation period.

In the beginning, the Antichrist, will support and harlot’s world religion, but after a while, they will have disagreements that will cause a separation between the two.

The Beast, who was dominated by the harlot system (Rev. 17:3), rises against her and destroys her and her system completely.

II. Mystery Babylon the Cosmic Church

Here in chapter 17 it is mystery Babylon, the cosmic church, the apostate church.

The church of Thyatira, described in chapter 2, verses 18–29,

which permitted Jezebel to teach, will become the apostate church of the Great Tribulation.

It will attain the goal of the present-day apostates of all the great systems of the world: Romanism, Protestantism, pagan religions, cults and “isms.”

It is called mystery Babylon because of its origin. At the Tower of Babel man attempted to rally against God.

Under Nimrod, Babylon became the origin of all false religion.

Now the dream of Nimrod will be realized in the first half of the Great Tribulation Period,

for the cosmic church dominates the wild Beast.

The church that should have been the bride of Christ is now a harlot.

This church is guilty of spiritual fornication, selling herself to the world for hire.

This is the church that says, “I am rich and increased with goods, and I have need of nothing.”

Conclusion:

Looking back at the study of the seven churches, in chapters 3–4 of the Book of Revelation, the church in Philadelphia represented the church that would be raptured before the time of the Tribulation Period.

He said to that church, “I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation” (Rev. 3:10).

That “hour” is the Great Tribulation, The true church will not go through the Great Tribulation; it will be raptured before the Tribulation begins.

Let’s be specific: who will be raptured? Not certain denominations and not just individual churches, but His church, a collective term meaning all true believers, those who are in Christ.

Don’t you want to be apart of the true church?

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Romans 10:13 NKJV

13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Lord I believe that Jesus is the son of God, and that He died On the cross for my sins and His resurrection from the dead gives me eternal life. I ask forgiveness of my sins, and I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Amen.
