Jesus says that those who follow him, seeking to live for him, must have pure motivations for their actions. Living out our faith isn't to be done so others see us, nor is it to be done to win God's favour. Rather, we are to live for Jesus in a way that if people see us, they will praise our father in heaven for his offer of forgiveness.
