We have discussed a lot pertaining to this subject. The world, the flesh and the devil.

We have spent a couple weeks talking about Satan, where he came from, who he is, what he is and what he’s not! We talked about his attacks look like against God’s people (the church)
Today we are going to talk about Satan’s attack on the human race, the unbelievers. Which we once were!
2 Corinthians 4:3–4 NKJV
But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
VEILED: having or wearing a veil or a concealing cover. Obscured or disguised
Blinded to what? The Gospel
Look closely at the last part of verse 4!
The light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ WHO IS THE IMAGE OF GOD!

The Beatitudes

Luke 6:20–26

5 And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. 2 Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying:

3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit,

For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

4 Blessed are those who mourn,

For they shall be comforted.

5 Blessed are the meek,

For they shall inherit the earth.

6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,

For they shall be filled.

7 Blessed are the merciful,

For they shall obtain mercy.

8 Blessed are the pure in heart,

For they shall see God.

9 Blessed are the peacemakers,

For they shall be called sons of God.

10 Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake,

For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

The Similitudes

13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Luke 6:27 NKJV
“But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,
We are to be the light.God has chosen to use us to reveal to the blind; the glorious light of salvation.
When one sees the light they must answer this question:
Matthew 16:15 NKJV
He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
then:
Mark 6:12 NKJV
So they went out and preached that people should repent.
Jesus puts it this way:
Luke 5:32 NKJV
I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”
Luke 13:3 NKJV
I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.
Luke 13:5 NKJV
I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.”

The call to repentance is a call to absolute surrender to the purposes of God and to live in this awareness. This radical turning to God is required of all people: “Unless you repent, you will all perish
