Intro: Different Depictions of Jesus...
*There was once a small group of people who were lost in the jungle. They had been lost for a while and if your know anything about jungle you know that they are not safe to be lost. They came upon a man who helped them. He encouraged them to follow him and he led them our of the jungle. The place that he led them was to a church. They had never been inside a church before. After looking at the church for a moment they turned to find that the man was gone. They made their way into the church and saw a picture of a man on the wall. It was a picture like this...
When the pastor realized someone was there he greeted and welcomed them . They asked the pastor, “Where is the man that led us out of the jungle. The pastor replied, “There is no one else here.” They took the pastor to the picture and said, “This is the man that saved us when we were in the jungle!”

TS: We want to learn who God is from the Word of God that He has given us!
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was with God in the beginning.
3 All things were created through him, and apart from him not one thing was created that has been created.
4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men.
5 That light shines in the darkness, and yet the darkness did not overcome it.

8 Bind them as a sign on your hand and let them be a symbol on your forehead.
9 Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your city gates.

16 For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
