ACCUSER V/S ADVOCATE 03.23.22

We we preach the message about the deceiver and I'm kind of going to do an unintentional Series. Right? Right here. I'm going to continue along the lines of that thought. I answered we talked about three different things. Sunday morning. We talked about, Satan is a deceiver who attacks your mind with lies and me. Knows that's the truth. And tonight I want to talk about Point. Number two, is Satan is our accuser who attacked your heart with accusations. A man, if I could, I want to read Ephesians 6:12. We're going to be quite a few different places. I'm going to start here tonight and we read this all the time, but I want to touch on it just again, Ephesians 6 and 12. It says for we are not fighting against flesh and blood in me. Somebody say you, man. But against evil rulers and authorities of the Unseen World against Mighty powers in the Dark World against evil spirits in Heavenly places. Would you say a man? Tonight? If I could just for a few minutes, I want to preach on the title accuser versus Advocate. Let us pray to Heavenly. Father. We thank you, leave. You praise honor and all the glory tonight. We love you for this opportunity to be in your house. And then your presence. God, we pray that you would help us to anoint. Our lips got to go that we would speak what you would have us to speak. Nothing more. Nothing less got loaded on our ears to hear tonight with the spirit of God was saying to your church, we forgive you all, the praise thee, honor and the glory in Jesus. Mighty name and it's yours said. Hey, man. Hey, man. Hey, man. Listen, how many knows we are fighting a spiritual battle. Somebody say man. How many knows? It's more than and then just a physical thing. It's more than just it's a spiritual battle that you and I are facing. In this time. And how many knows that we have a real enemy in his name is Satan the Devil. He's got a bunch of names tonight. At how many knows it's not? If we are going to get attacked. How many knows we are under attack. If you were a bud, a blood bought believer tonight. If you are a child of the most high King, how many nose tonight that you are under attack of the enemy? And I would venture to say that if you are not under attack right now, then you are not a threat to the kingdom, of hell? Would you say a man? But we are all under attack. We, we have an enemy and and I told you this Sunday morning, I don't preach these types of messages to glorify or bring honor to the enemy, but I do it to expose his tactics and to bring about awareness of of to the children of God to the enemy that we face. And that we fight. I how many knows that we have an enemy today. His name is Satan. Lucifer, deceiver, destroy our accuser. Father of Lies, Prince of Darkness to work goes off. On and on and on about things in about names for the enemy until Sunday morning. We talked about Satan being the deceiver that lies. I ain't you to our mind. That that that attacks our mind with lies tonight. I want to talk about Satan the accuser who attacks your heart with accusation, has anybody tonight ever done something wrong and other people saw anybody? Maybe that's just me how many I have ever. Maybe you were in a public place. You lost your cool or are you done something? You should not do or, or are you in about something totally wrong? I can tell you by being a pastor or a preacher that this is magnified by about 1,000, everything that you've ever done wrong in your life. I think there's a list of it and people read it daily. I think that that I've been there before and how many nose after you screw up. There's probably no worse feeling than knowing that you just How many you've ever been in front of maybe some newer people that you had not necessarily known very long and you done something really stupid. I am, and how many knows you screwed up royally and all of a sudden, you feel absolutely terrible about it. Anybody ever done that? Or is that just me? I mean, you were like, man. I wish that that I wish that they were not here to see that anybody. I've been there before, I felt that accusation, when you done something like that, especially me being a pastor. I would instantly begin to feel that that just tightness of my chest being like, you are a pastor of a church. Yeah, I'm saying like like I begin to feel that that that come against me. Like you cannot be a pastor. What kind of people are going to want to follow somebody? Like you, you ruined your witness with your children. Your children had just saw you lose your cool. Maybe I'm the only one, but I was like I was never be able to win my children. Now that they saw that episode anybody ever added. Maybe I should not raise. This is me, but how you felt that way? You were like man? What a bad example. I was to my children. What a what a what a bad father that I am. I anybody ever just every time you do something wrong with I'll never be worth anything. Now I've screwed up I can't do it. How many knows we've all been there before? But I want to read Isaiah 54-17 you say, you quote this first probably every service. But I only quote half of it. Let me read the second half because the majority if you only quote, the first half as well.

Isaiah 54:17 no weapon turned against you will succeed. Let's read the second part. And you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the Servants of the Lord. And this is their Vindication for me. Declares the Lord, how many knows that that that verse that, that the NLT version? This is the NIT, but the NLT since you will silence every voice race up to accuse. You. How many knows that we read it? We say no weapon formed against me, will prosper? No weapon formed against me, will succeed. We quote that all the time. But how many knows we need to quote the second part? Because it's just as equally as powerful as the first part? How many knows that first part is no weapon, that is formed against me shall prosper or succeed, but you will silence every voice raised up to accuse you how how many knows the accuser the enemy tonight? How many knows that his that in Revelation 12:10. It's his voice in Heaven's Sake, have come the salvation of the power of the kingdom of God, and the authority of his Messiah. Listening for the accuser of the Brothers and sisters, who accuses them before? Our God day and night has been hurled down. Somebody, say, Amen to that. And how many glad that the accuser of the Brethren has been hurled down tonight. How many knows is that, that that the word accuser it comes from the Greek word? Diablo sisters, you 35 times in the New Testament alone. It is also translated to the word devil adversary and accuser. How many knows? This describes the enemy that you and I face. He is an accuser of the Brethren. He will take everything that you have ever done in your entire life and throw it in your face. Every time anybody ever. I ever had that person in your life. That would never let you live down something. How many knows that the enemy had a constantly and consistently wants to be an accuser of those that are in Christ Jesus? How many notes? Because if he can't accuse, you can't cause you to be overwhelmed with shame and guilt. How many knows that he can win a battle in your life. If you allow him to somebody say you, man. How many is ever witness isn't, you know, it to be true that before you send the enemy comes at you with lies? Let me explain before you sent. The enemy. Comes that you would lies. How many knows you ever heard this. It's no big deal. How many knows? If no one will ever find out how everybody's doing it. How many hours do you deserve it? Go ahead and do it. And it's only this one time and you'll never get caught. Nobody will ever see it and nobody will even know about it. How many knows the accuser the enemy, The Deceiver tonight. How many knows that he will come at you before that. You sent it with life. But how many nose after you sent that he comes at you with accusation. How many oz in one breath? The enemy says, it's no big deal. Go ahead and do it and it's not a problem. Everybody else in the church. Does it have everybody's doing it all over the world? Nobody's going to think nothing of it. How many knows? But the minute you do it, you're not. How could you do that? You, you'll never be anything. You'll never amount to nothing. How could God ever love you? And how did God ever use? You can, what were you even thinking? You have ruined every opportunity that you've ever had. Quite a pathetic waste of a life. This is the same person in the same in the same moment of time. But before you said he comes that you realized it. After you send, he comes at you with accusation. How many notes tonight? When the devil talks to you about God, he lies. When the devil talks to you about you, he, accuses want you to pay attention that tonight. We're going to go to Zachariah tonight for a power, for a powerful personal text, in this book of Zechariah. You'll know that in the book of Zechariah. There's eight visions that are brought about in the book of Zechariah. I'm going to talk about one of them. I believe it's the 4th. Once it is the setting of a courtroom. If you will kind of a Judge Judy thing, if you wouldn't if you entertain that there's all kinds of people comes out with that. I've been how many nose tonight this Vision almost brings about a courtroom experience and self. John being the judge sitting on the throne and the high priest. Joshua is the defendant and Satan is the prosecutor, the Accuser. Is so tonight. I want you to paint this picture in your mind of a courtroom. God being here. We got Satan on one side. We got Joshua, the high priest on the other and he's trying to prove Josh. He was guilty ended up in a the case at Joshua's roads are filthy full of sin, and he is a priest. And it ain't in Zachariah 3:1 through 3. It says Denny shows me Joshua, the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord and Satan. Standing at his right side to what accuse him. The Lord said to Satan the Lord rebuke you Satan the Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you is not this man. A burning stick snatched from the fire. How many is glad to be that burning sticks next to the fire? And how many, how many knows that that as we read this scripture. The angel of the Lord is Jesus in the Old Testament. How many know Satan standing at his right side to accuse him. It sounds a lot like you. And I today and are very situation. How many noses talk about Joshua in this Vision? So you can plug yourself into this because how many knows this happens on a daily basis. We have a God, the father that is all Mighty and sitting high on the front and we stand before a holy God today and that in turn makes Satan the deceiver in the accuser stance and he points out every reason in the world. Why you shouldn't be worthy. He's looking at Joshua.

Alter should never go out his. What about this guy. He let it go out. He points out everything. Wrong, that he ever done it. Why? He should not be why he could not be. And how many nose did ship? But but how many nose date night like a goofy ever been to a black tie affair and you're standing there feeling totally wrong and out-of-place, how many knows how Joshua ship would have. Felt it in this Vision standing before a holy God with dirty with dirty clothes with filthy clothes, how many notes? Imagine not only standing there in all of your frustration and all of your, your anger knowing that you are standing before a holy God with filthy rags on it. And not only that you have the enemy standing here, pitching his case against you telling him everything wrong that you've ever done. You could you imagine seeing that before God's with filthy rags knowing that your dirty knowing that you're unworthy knowing that you can't hang then there's somebody saying that we know what they done had, you know, what will back then they done this and they done this and they done this and this is why they ain't no good. In this weather going to be like in the whole time. I got one of these shut up. But how many notes does that? That, that remember you have to remember this infant and you have to understand this is the same thing that the enemy does before. It got physical for you. But how many Notions about you have to remember when you did this? You remember, when you stole this or how many have ever been there before you just thinking back over your life and all of a sudden, everything wrong, that you've ever done, begins to roll, over in your mind and you're like. I know, I can never make it past that. I know that I can never make it in above that. I know that I ruin my life. I have to destroy my opportunity to God. I'll never use a person. Like me. How many knows? The enemy will throw everything in your face. Tell me. No, stupid human brat. Time you dumbass. What about the affair? What about the divorce? And what about all of this stuff? What about all of this? How many of the enemy wants to make you feel dirty ashamed? Unworthy? And worthless, He knows the accuser. Pearl. Shame at you all day long. It's what he does when it comes to God. He lies when it comes to you. He accuses you and tries to make you feel overwhelmed with guilt. How many nose tonight, before we look at the rest of the story? I want to remind somebody about who Jesus is. Yes. Yes. The enemy tonight and he is a deceiver. He is an accuser. But how many all tonight that Jesus is our Advocate tonight? And I want to talk just a little bit about Jesus being our Advocate and how many ounce he is our representative and he is our defending lawyer and he is the one that stands with us in the face of the accuser tonight. And how many knows? The enemy might throw up everything you've ever done. Has has Joshua said before the Lord, a holy God with unrighteousness in a filthy rags before it. How many knows he has? Somebody standing here willing to fight on his behalf. And how many nose tonight and that that that 1st John 21. Says it might be a chilly. I'm writing this to you so that you do not seeing. How many of us is not God's will that we see. But how many knows that because he knows that we are place. He knows that we are weak and he knows that we will falter and fail. He says this. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate to plead our case before the father. It's if he says, it says he is Jesus Christ. The one who is truly righteous. I just busted a lot of people's Bible right. There, knows he's the one that is truly righteous. How many knows he is my ever get tonight. How many knows? I fight a daily. I fight the sins of my past and because the enemy tries to constantly hurling accusations at me, telling me that I'm not worthy and telling me that I'll never be good enough to tell me that I'll never amount to anything and he try to make me feel guilty and he trying to make me feel shameful and worthless, but how many knows our heavenly father? Jesus Christ is our Advocate that fights for us today. How many of the deaths of the devil Harold's accusations that Joshua has been how many nose. Just with his Defender. The Lord was his Defender, how many nails does Zechariah 3 and forces? The angel said, to those who were standing before him talkin about Joshua. It says take off his filthy clothes. Then he said to Joshua, see, I have taken away your sins and I will put fine garments on you. How many knows that you? And I had experienced the same thing. When we receive salvation through the Lord, Jesus Christ tonight. How many knows we were blessed with something that we did not deserve. Not because you and I were good enough, but because how good our God is tonight, and how many knows that he looked at him and his filthy rags and is changing and by All rights. Yes, because the enemy was probably right. I was worthless and I wasn't good enough. And I was still thinking I was unworthy. How many knows? The Lord says I'll take that dirty, unrighteous Rags that you wear, and I'll replace it with a beautiful robe of royalty tonight. And I want you to know that you have. You have an advocate with the father has that goes for For you and that fights for you and that takes every wrong that you've ever done and covers it under the blood of the Lamb of Jesus tonight. How many of the prodigal, son? We see the same exact story of the prodigal son. Got all of his inheritance. He ran it and just lived it up everything that he could, think of all that he could do. He ran out of money. He ran out of ran out of will to want to run and see if he found his self laying in a picture of his thinking, about the father's house thinking about the even though the Servants of the father's house and had leftover food to give the dogs, know how many knows he was envying. What the heck? What the hog would even eat but how many knows when he began to walk down the street? And the father begin to see what's the first thing that he done and he saw the mess that he was an undoubted. Undoubtedly. The father smelled, the stench of the pics, not on his clothes and how many knows what the first thing he does when he says get my very best road. Why? Because he was trying to cover up, what was already a mess. And how many knows? That's exactly what the blood of Jesus. He's the father, took that road and put it on his son to cover up. All the sin, all this tension, all the feels. And our heavenly father tonight does the same exact thing as accusations are slumping like mudding up? It's not how many knows our heavenly father who pours out his blood free later so that we would be covered and we would be looked at as a king child tonight A man, how many saber the blood of Jesus tonight, He knows that that. Zechariah 3, verse number 5, it says this, then I said put a clean turban on his head. So it put a clean turban on his head and close them while the angel of the Lord stood by it says, the angel of the lord gave discharge to Joshua. This is what the Lord Almighty says. If you walk in obedience to me and keep my requirements, then you will Governor my house and have charge over my courts and I will give you place among the saying that these standing here. How many was the angel of the Lord was ordered to remove those filthy clothes? At how many nose have him put on? Holy garments? How many knows what he tells us? What He tell him to do. He said, I want He did return to the temple and keep serving me. He said that she told me everything you've done but I have said, look at this is just a burning stick that I have pulled out of the fire. This is one that I have saved. This is wanted in who steal that I have covered it with a brand new garment and a brand new. Holy righteous Road and I put a turban on his head and how many love I took all that since I took all that unrighteousness and all that. I feel dizziness and I've covered it and I've covered it. How many know that? That's what we got to do tonight, we've got too many people that get hung up an accusation of the enemy. They hang it up and quit because he's told you look what you've done. You can never you'll never be used by God. Look at the mess that you've made your supposed to be a born-again, but look at what you've done, how many how many has ever been there before? Maybe there's just a couple of his family knows. I'm preaching to somebody in the house tonight. The enemy is an accuser of the Brethren, how many else he will bring back everything, but how me know something for that. The Lord Jesus says, take off that old dirty clothes and put on a holy garment. And how many knows he says go to the temple and run again, be used again. How many knows? When I think when we do something wrong, it's important to learn to distinguish these two things, Satan's accusations in the spirits convictions. Because how many knows that they can feel real close together that the accusations from the enemy in the spirits. Holy conviction, Upon Our Hearts. Let me tell you a way to tell the difference accusation drives us away from God in shame. How many knows but but but convictions, how many those are two leads us back to our Holy Father. How many knows that the accusation that says. I'm guilty. I feel shameful. I'm unworthy. How many knows that's the feeling that we get when we fall into accusations? But conviction leads me to repentance and hope in Christ. Jesus. See a shins will push me away in shame, but but but conviction tonight will draw me close to the father. I thought about this, listen to Satan accuses. How many does he want you to feel guilty that he wants you to experience regret and remorse with the spirit's conviction? Draws you to the presence of God to experience his grace. You have to understand that tonight. I remember reading mean that fits this perfectly. How many other accusations says, don't tell. Dad. How many knows that conviction says I need my father. You have to understand the, how does it make you feel? How is it making you feel to do? Not allow the accusations from your past, or your present to drive you away from God. How many knows the enemy is a liar. He is a deceiver and he is an accuser of the Brethren have been. How many knows we serve a mighty God? And that says, if we working away, if we will confess our sins and that he is faithful and just to forgive those, those in, there is no condemnation to those that are in Christ Jesus. We must understand tonight. The devil knows your name, but calls you by your sin. How many hours God knows you're saying, but calls you by your name? You must understand tonight. The enemy will highlight every wrong that you've ever done. Try to make you feel worthless worthless and unworthy and guilty and shameful about your life. But how many knows that God came to do away with all that? He came to do away with all that? How many or 2nd Corinthians? 10 3 through 564, though. We live in the world. We do not wage war as the wage war, as the world does, the weapons of our Warfare are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary. They have divine power to demolish strongholds. How many how many knows it bursts in 5 says we demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God. And we take captive every thought to make it obedient unto Christ. And how many knows that we have to understand, we've talked about it before. You have to filter everything that comes into your heart and in your mind and say it's just good for me. This is build up my faith or is his something try to come at me and tear me down. If you have to be willing to throw away the garbage. And cultivate the word. Let me know if we have to be able to differentiate the things that come in US filter out what will destroy us. And then eat up what will build us and make us strong. We have to be able to do that accusation. Such as you are a failure. You should be ashamed. How many knows that we have to be able to like we talked about Sunday. Every time the enemy comes at me with a lie. Every time he comes at me with an accusation. What do we do? We fight back with the word of God? We have to understand tonight. When he said, when the enemy comes at me, with an accusation saying, you're a failure. You should be ashamed. You're never going to amount to anything. You just declare that I am the righteousness of God in Christ. I am a new creation, old things are passed away, and all things have become new. You say that might have been who I was, but that is not who I am anymore. How old things are passed away. That, that was who I used to be. Don't, don't bring up my past. Don't bring it up because guess what? I may have had filthy rags on it once but I have a holy garment on now. It got its dressed me in righteousness and I walk upright before him. How many knows that to be true? A man. I mean I was when you have an accusation was God, is punishing me. Is anybody ever said that before? How many states allow the enemy? That's a lot of the accuser coming against you? If you got it spun. Don't get me wrong. Your stupidity can have punishment and and repercussions because your bad decisions still have consequences. How many know that tonight? I mean those dates not necessarily God is punishing. You, you just made dumb choices. But how many knows when to when the enemy comes at you and God has punished me. How many of us is we come out here with my father is a good. God who gives good gifts. How many hours do we have to be able to acknowledge that this attack that? I'm the under? It's coming from the evil one said, but what the devil meant for evil God is about to turn around and use for my good. How many we've got to consider it all joy, when we fall into divers Temptations. How many knows? Because when that work is finished. It produces patients are persevering, That's what it is. Just all of that is cultivated enough to become who were created to be coming up. We got to look at all of that. How many knows the accusation that comes against his, his his after what you did. Won't never come through for you. You're in trouble. How many knows that accusation comes? We just simply say this, we say I rejoice in the lord. Always that? How many nose again. I say, rejoice. How many toes do we? We just begin to to read rework. The word of God. This is the Lord is near. He's not anxious about him. That's not anxious about anything. He's put in every situation by prayer and petition with Thanksgiving. And I make my request known to God and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart. And in my mind in Christ Jesus, how many knows that whatever I faced and however I come about and how many else I'm not going to let an accusation destroy me. I'm going to declare the promises of God in my life. How many knows the accusation might come up and say, God isn't there. He's disappointed in. You. Don't even love you. And how many knows I've been there before. I've made mistakes, that I knew grieve the Holy Father, I said, in my pity and I'll let the accuser. I let him drill me over and over and over until I felt like, man, I've screwed up this time. I know he don't love me anymore. Cuz I know that he don't care. If I knew it was a lot of the whole time, but I gave the enemy to just a foothold in my life. And then before I knew it, he was captivating. All of my thoughts. How many knows if you don't watch it? One fault. Can take a room in your heart and how many knows he can filter every thought that you have from then on. How many is never done that you let one stinkin little thought? Come into your mind and sit too long and you begin to cultivate that thought and it grew roots of bitterness down into your heart. And now that you can't begin to see the goodness of God said, because you have blinded your eyes to the truth. All, because you've cultivated one thought that was put there by the Accuser. How many oz is Joshua? Still there? No down. He felt dirty. He felt filthy. He felt unworthy. But he said, I rebuke the Lord's. I rebuke you Satan. This is one that I pulled out of the fire. I've rescued him. I taken his dirty nuts and I've replaced it with a holy garment. I've covered that mess. So that all I see. Is righteousness, He knows that he kind of we might become the righteousness. We put on that garment tonight at how many knows that when we looked and said, God isn't there. He's disappointed. How many knows that that Noah in all of these things were more at. We're more than conquerors through him, that loved us. How many hours for I'm convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels nor demons. No powers, neither neither height, nor depth or anything else, in all creation will separate me from the love of God, Don't say nothing on stopping from loving you. How many knows there's nothing. There's nowhere. You can run and that will get you away from the love of God. There's nowhere. You can hide that would make him. Stop loving you. And how many knows he will? You look at your children tonight. Your natural children. Those either have them. Tell me knows, no matter what they do. You still love them. How many outs are still some, if they doesn't matter what decisions they make, it doesn't matter how far or how crazy they go. We're just like the prodigal son's father tonight and tell me, I was that that that no matter what they do. We may be disappointed. There may be times were frustrated at the end of that. I used to love that baby because he's yours, knows that the lord loves you tonight. How many knows? My God will never. Leave us, nor forsake us. How many knows that my God is for me. He's fighting for me. How many knows that we are victorious in Christ Jesus? How many oz? No weapon? May formed formed against me will prosper, but how many knows you will silence every voice? That raises up to accuse you tonight. I need somebody to get excited about that tonight. You will silence every voice. It comes to accuse you. Listen to the devil, knows you by your name. He calls you by your sin. But God knows you by your sin and calls you by your name. I mean, I was the one that has all authority chooses to love you. Anyway, I need you to know that. The one that said while we were you there, though, the one that hid talks about it, says, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. How many notes you didn't have? It figured out, you didn't have it all together. You wasn't worth it, but he still paid the price. I didn't have it together when he died. So what makes you think? You got to have it together to come before him today? Listen, this is such a lie of the enemy tonight. There's so many people that I talk to on a daily basis that tell me straight up look at me in the face and say I'm just got some stuff. I've got to work out first.

Why? Because they've talked with Ava, allow the enemy to be an accuser. And they brought up everything they've ever done, every wrong. They've ever had. He's told him, you can never be forgiven. There's no way that God could ever say, there's no way that he still loves you. After though. I think you'll be up, you might as well forget, you might as well give up. He don't care about you. He don't want you no more. How many nose after a while. If you sit there and let the enemy have your ear, how many else he'll talk to you right out of the goodness in the blessings of the Lord. We have to understand the enemy May attack with accusations, but we have an advocate that fights for us. I'm glad tonight that the Lord stands and he fights for me. No matter what accusations may come? How many no she is love. Still staying strong. In his grace still available. How many sniper for Grace tonight? My brother will come how many Nelson don't let the enemy beat you down over your mistake and drive you from the presence of God. That is such a lie in a trick of the enemy tonight. Such a devastating fact that I've saw over and over again. I'm so people do so well in church. I saw people come to the altar cry and really give their heart to the Lord. Only to realize that a couple of days a week or two later. Maybe a month. They make a mistake.
