Water dripped on paper. Iron mixed with carbon. Once combined, these things no longer function as they did when they were separate. They become a new creation and should be treated differently. You can’t drink the water in the paper. Nor can you write with as much firmness on paper where water was spilled. Likewise, when you accept Christ into your life, you too are a new creation. You are on the road of a new life. Some of us forget that our sins have been wiped clean. That we have a fresh start. That we should behave as such.
