Let The Work Of God Appear

There is an anointing and power in submissiveness

Submitting to God comes with power

Resisting the devil comes from the ability to submission to God

Power comes through submissiveness

This is a kingdom truth

16 Let thy work appear unto thy servants, And thy glory unto their children.

Not everything that claims to be a work of God is a work of God

World, the flesh, and the Devil are all working

To much flesh

envy, strife, division

Lack of forgiveness and bitterness is a sign of flesh

The flesh will split families, split churches, it will severe communities

Wouldn’t it be great if a great number put their faith in the Lord

Don’t we want others to see how powerful God and how he’s worked in us

What does God’s work look like

1. God is always Working

God never takes a break

27 And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked.

He’s working in my family

I get overwhelmed and wonder if He’s working

There are so many that need God’s power to help them out of addiction, bondage, helplessness

It’s not by our power that that happens, It’s God’s power

2. Let thy Work Appear

The work will appear to the servants of the Lord

Those that serve the Lord

Those that do not get involve in the work will never see it quite clearly

When you are not involved, you will never see what God is doing quite

Critical people are not in the work

God will bring up past works to help encourage us for the future works

God will show us what he’s doing presently to encourage us to continue

God will show us what He’s going to do in the future

3. God’s work is a Work of Real Transformation

17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

If God needs to bend something

Man cannot take the Glory away from God because it’s so miraculous
