Questions:
How many of you have a car?
How many of you want a car?
If you could have any car or truck what would you want?
How many of you think you will need a car in life?
How long do cars normally last?
Does anyone have any idea where I am going with this?
God has given you one body to last a lifetime you had better take care of it.
“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” Psalm 139:14 (ESV)
You and I have been gifted by God with the most state of the art mind, body and soul in all the universe.
If Satan can’t destroy your soul, he will settle for destroying your body. He will work overtime to get your life-spanand your health-span to not be compatible.
· Life-span is how long you are going to live.
· Health-span is how long your body is going to function well and allow you to enjoy life.
· What you are doing or not doing right now is determining the health-span of your life.
· 80% of chronic disease in our society is preventable through lifestyle practices.
· Most of the problems in our future are being determined by the life-practices we are establishing today.
Truth: There is a systemic strategy woven into the fabric of our society that is designed by the God of the age to undermine our health
“…For we are not unaware of his schemes.” 2 Corinthians 2:11 (NIV)
Memory Verses:
“Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.” 3 John 1:2 (NIV)
“Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:16
“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31

Conclusion:
God’s Old Testament plan of evangelism was the healthiest nation on earth.
“If you will diligently listen to the voice of the LORD your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, your healer.”Exodus 15:26 (ESV)
