Q: Can you think of people that have been or are like this in your life?
The Bible says that we should love our neighbor, so what about interacting with people that are not good. What does the Bible say about being with people like this?
Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is walking in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us.
What is idleness? Being lazy
Do not eat the bread of a man who is stingy; do not desire his delicacies, for he is like one who is inwardly calculating. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, but his heart is not with you.
Make no friendship with a man given to anger, nor go with a wrathful man, lest you learn his ways and entangle yourself in a snare.
I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people— not at all meaning the sexually immoral of this world, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler—not even to eat with such a one.
The Bible acknowledges that there are individuals who are going to negatively affect our lives and our walk with God.

You are the sum of the 5 people you spend the most time around.
Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.
A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.
Even with people that are well meaning there often can be disagreement and relationships can suffer. Have you experienced that?
Especially with family or a fellow believer.
A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
