Sermon Tone Analysis

As we meditate on the word, an invisible process commences and continues progressively until Faith is released or born.

We don’t need to be conscious of the process.

Just like the Farmer, when he sows his seed in the ground, he does not need to be conscious of the process.

Likewise does not tamper with the process.

It is the result that tells him whether the process is successful or not or whether the soil needs improvement or not.

The first thing that happens when we meditate or hear is the Word is broken to release its primary contents and the first 2 to be released are a) the Spirit and b)the Life of God.

That is why the Bible says in Jn.6:63, ‘It is the Spirit that quickeneth, the flesh profiteth nothing”...words that i speak are Spirit, and they are Life.

Do not stop meditating, otherwise ...Hope happens (deferred hope) , Faith not yet born.

It is as we continue to meditate on the Word that the Spirit and the Life are also broken down to release their content , the LIFE will release Light, while the Spirit will release Power.

Until these 4 entities that constitute the essence of the person of God are released to us in ordained combinations, there is no Faith.

Therefore, Faith is the combination of the Spirit of God, the Life of God, the power of God and the Light from God you receive from the Word of God that enable or empower you to align and conform or function according to the Word.

The Bible refers to them as the great and precious promises by which we are partakers of the divine nature as in 2Pe.1:4.

Let’s look at the role of the 4 Entities:

The Role of the Spirit of God in the Process of Faith:

Jn.6:63.

He is the one that gives life, then appeared as content of the Word.

Same Holy Spirit functioning in different capacities.

2Cor.4:13,

KJV, He is the Spirit of Faith, because by Him , Faith is released to us.

That is why to walk in the Spirit is simply to walk by Faith and to walk by faith is the major way we are led by the Spirit.

2Cor.3:6.

2. The Role of the Life of God in the Process of Faith:

The Life of the Flesh is in the Blood-- Lev.17:11.

1Jn.5:11.

The summary is that, the Life of God which was with the father has been made available to us in the Son.

The Life of God is what the Bible refers to as as the seed of God which is similar to what we call DNA on earth.

“whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin, for His Seed remaineth in Him and he can not sin---1Jn.3:9.

-- Your capacity to overcome sin or the world is hidden in the Life of God.

3.The Role of the Power of God in the Process of Faith:

“But as many as received Him..... Jn.1:12.

, Acts1:8.

Thus, every time the Spirit from the Word is properly watered, the major result is Power.

4.The Role of the Light from God in the Process of Faith.:

Jn.1:4.

Light from God because God is Light.---1Jn.1:5.
