Exodus 3:5 (NAS):
Do not come near here; remove your sandals from your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.”
I. The Lord has a plan
Exodus 1:8
Now a new king arose over Egypt, who did not know Joseph.
The Bible says Pharaoh did this to the people of God:
1. Gave them HARD LABOR
2. He afflicted them greatly
3. He caused them to have rigorous labor
4. Made the lives of the people of God bitter
5. Told all the mid-wives of the Hebrews to kill the boys
II. The Lord has His people
Exodus 2:10
The child grew, and she brought him to Pharaoh’s daughter and he became her son. And she named him Moses, and said, “Because I drew him out of the water.”
John 6:40
For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.”
Ephesians 2:10
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.
III. The Lord has His process

Holy Ground!!!
1. It was a season allowed by God
2. It was a season of isolation
3. It was vital to the process to the purpose of Moses’ life for what was next
