Introduction
Introduction
To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah.
1 O clap your hands, all ye people; Shout unto God with the voice of triumph.
2 For the Lord most high is terrible; He is a great King over all the earth.
3 He shall subdue the people under us, And the nations under our feet.
4 He shall choose our inheritance for us, The excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.
5 God is gone up with a shout, The Lord with the sound of a trumpet.
6 Sing praises to God, sing praises: Sing praises unto our King, sing praises.
7 For God is the King of all the earth: Sing ye praises with understanding.
8 God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.
9 The princes of the people are gathered together, Even the people of the God of Abraham: For the shields of the earth belong unto God: He is greatly exalted.

We’ve heard a lot about the battles we’re in, the war we’ve entered into, counting the cost, etc. etc. etc.
What we need to hear about today is our victory! The victory we have in Jesus Christ!
Has God subdued the enemy under you?
17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
8 Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: Thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; Thy father’s children shall bow down before thee.
7 And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.
8 And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.
36 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, That my feet did not slip.
37 I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: Neither did I turn again till they were consumed.
38 I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: They are fallen under my feet.
39 For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: Thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
40 Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; That I might destroy them that hate me.
7 Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God: For thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; Thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: When I fall, I shall arise; When I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.
What has God given you victory over?
Sickness in your body?
Emotional distress?
Relationship issues?
Issues at work?
Freedom from addictions?
A lost loved one?
Forgiveness of Sin!???!?
A restored relationship with Jesus Christ?!?!
We have NEVER experienced defeat in Jesus Christ!
14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
We can rejoice in the God of our Salvation!
10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, He hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
