Exodus 15:26 (KJV 1900)
“And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.”

Psalm 103:1–3 (KJV 1900)

Hebrews 13:8 (KJV 1900)
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”
Why Does Jesus Heal?
1.) Jesus is moved with HIS compassion for the lost, sick, and oppressed. (Mk.1:40; Mark 1:41-42; Romans 2:4)
2.) Healing & Deliverance belongs to the children of God (Mark 7:27-28)
3.) Jesus fulfilled the prophecy spoken by the prophet Isaiah (Matthew 8:16-17)
Matthew 8:16–17 (KJV 1900)
“When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.”
4.) Jesus Heals and manifest destroying the works of the devil. (John 9:1-11; John 3:8; Acts 10:37-38)
5.) Jesus wants you to be whole spirit, soul, and body. (III John 2)
Foundations of Pentecostal Theology, Volumes 1 & 2 (Introduction > Chapter Seven: The Doctrine of Divine Healing)
“We believe that Divine Healing is the power of the Lord Jesus Christ to heal the sick and the afflicted in answer to believing prayer; that He who is the same yesterday, and today and forever has never changed but is still an all-sufficient help in the time of trouble, able to meet the needs of, and quicken into newness of life, the body, as well as the soul and spirit, in answer to the faith of them who ever pray with submission to His divine and sovereign will.”
Appropriating Divine Healing
Appropriating Divine Healing
1.) Repent of both sins of commission and omission. ( I John 1:8)
2.) Check your heart if you have unforgiveness
3.) Write down scriptures on faith & healing
4.) Have faith in God. Confess by speaking and believe you receive according to the promises of God’s Word
5.) Continue daily by corresponding actions. Being a hearer and doer of the Word of God.
Wigglesworth would say, “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, not by reading commentaries. Faith is the principle of the Word of God. The Holy Spirit, who inspired the Word, is called the Spirit of Truth; and as we receive with meekness the engrafted Word, faith springs up in our hearts.”
One day Wigglesworth was traveling by train and was seated in a compartment with two women. Talking with them, he soon learned that they were mother and daughter, both sick. “I have a very reliable remedy in my bag,” he told them. “In fact, I have never known it to fail.”
He talked so much about this marvelous remedy that the ladies asked him if he could give them dose of it. In response, he took out his Bible and read to them: “I am the Lord that healeth thee” (Ex. 15:26). It was not very long before God had healed them both. Smith Wigglesworth: Secret of his Power
