Hebrews 1:1 KJV 1900
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
Hebrews 1:2 KJV 1900
Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

Today he speaks to us by Son
THE SEVEN STATEMENTS OF CHRIST
Hebrews 1:3 KJV 1900
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
In the last days, this is the last dispensation, no other dispensation before the millenial reign of Christ
Christ is introduced as SON, it demonstrates the relation between the Father and Us that
He uses His SON, Christ
1. Heir of all things
2. Creator of all
3. Brightness of his glory expressing the very nature of God
4. Express image of God
5. Upholds (pheron), or rather carries every aspect of from beginning to end
6. Purged our Sins -- purification from sin
7. Thereafter Sat down on the right hand of majesty.
Why was he able to sit down?
He finished his work and God the Father was satisfied and accepted the sacrifice.
Why is he a prophet?
Because he gives us the Word of God.
Why is He a priest?
Because he cleanses us of Sin.
What is his last ministry to fulfill in the future?
The King who will reign.
