Song: I so glad trouble doesn’t last alaways
Honor to God, Pastor Toole, Pastor Grimes, and all the men and women of God.
Turn your Bible to Psalms 46:1
The name of this message is trouble don’t last always
Let me start my message by giving a background of the Psalms
It was a song written by the son of Korah - the sons of Korah were from the tribe of Levi
The tribe of Levi was called to be priest, they led the temple worship services
Psalm 46 was written to encourage God people to trust in God during difficult times
God - The Lord Almighty.
the creator
is our refuge- safe haven, shelter from the storm- God will cover us during the storms we face in life.
Strength - Power to get things done.
power to move obstacles, power to endure hardships and difficult times
How do when get God’s strength- By putting on his armor
Very present help in the time of trouble- God is with us during times of trouble.
God's presence gives us peace and comfort that passes all understanding.
The word trouble means- distress, anguish, discomfort, difficult, full of problems.
In this life will have trouble.
What does Jesus say about trouble?
