When God is in the House

God’s People Desire His Presence.

Solomon prayed for the Lord to dwell in the Temple in honor to His promise 2 Chron 6:18 “18 “But will God indeed dwell with man on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain you, how much less this house that I have built!” Read through verse 20.

When God is in the House...

His Presence is Evident (1-4)

His glory filled the house! It caused them to stop and take notice.

It moved his people to worship!

Our Prayers are Heard (12-16)

He promised to hear us when we call upon Him.

His People are Joyfully Submitted

1 Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.
