Luke 2:11 (NKJV)
11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
2 Peter 2:20 (NIV)
20 If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning.
At the birth of Jesus Christ, The angles from heaven came annoucing his birth to the world through the shepherd’s, Announced that Jesus is a SAVIOR and Christ the LORD,
I wan us all the take note in the verses, both Luke and 2 Peter, we read the term SAVIOR and LORD, unfortunately many of us accepted and are runing with the first part that is Jesus as the Savior and never cares to understand what it means when the bible say’s Jesus is our LORD. Jesus is not Just our Savior but also our Lord Halleluyah
Now there is the idea that once you are saved then it mean you are alway saved, now people think that they can live their lives the way the want to, saying Jesus have die the save me of my sins. my friends that is worng, Jesus is not just our savior but also our Lord.

LORD

Now what does the word Lord means, According to Distionary.com, the Word LORD means: a person who has authority, control, or power over others; a master, chief, or ruler. And that is what we don’t find in today’s christianity. People think they can live how they want and still depend on the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
IF JESUS CAN NOT CONTROL YOU, HE CAN’T SAVE YOU

Our Salvation Depend On Jesus Being Our Lord.

Romans 10:9 (NIV)
9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
So now if we have decleard with our mouths that Jesus is Lord, then it means that Jesus have something to say in our lives, He has the right to tell us to do away certain things that are not right in our lives. If Jesus is our Lord the He demands our absolute obedience to his commandements, so the bible say’s
John 14:15 NIV
15 “If you love me, keep my commands.
John 14:21 NIV
21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”
