Let us give thanks

Psalm 107:1–3 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story— those he redeemed from the hand of the foe, those he gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south.

the Lord is good and we need to tell of that goodness
Psalm 107:42 The upright see and rejoice, but all the wicked shut their mouths.
here is our normal state - we should be rejoicing
wickedness is not to speak of God’s goodness

Let us Tell

Psalm 40:9-10 I proclaim your saving acts in the great assembly; I do not seal my lips, LORD, as you know.
 I do not hide your righteousness in my heart; I speak of your faithfulness and your saving help. I do not conceal your love and your faithfulness from the great assembly.

Joyful Noise

Psalm 118:15–17 NIV
Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous: “The Lord’s right hand has done mighty things! The Lord’s right hand is lifted high; the Lord’s right hand has done mighty things!” I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done.

Our Experience

each one of us has stories of redemption and of the Lord’d blessings
some are big, others mean a lot privately
yet we must celebrate the work of the lord in our lives
we are far better off today than yesterday
I will live for the Lord for he sustains me each and every day
