THE WEEK THAT CHANGED THE WORLD
W ASH, EAT, PR AY
1. _________________________________________ Like ______________________________ (Wash)
John 13:3-5
3 Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he had come from God and was going
back to God, 4 rose from supper. He laid aside his outer garments, and taking a towel, tied it around his waist. 5
Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet and to wipe them with the towel that was
wrapped around him.
John 13:12-17
12 When he had washed their feet and put on his outer garments and resumed his place, he said to them, "Do you
understand what I have done to you? 13 You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am. 14 If I then,
your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. 15 For I have given you
an example, that you also should do just as I have done to you. 16 Truly, truly, I say to you, a servant is not greater
than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. 17 If you know these things, blessed are you
if you do them.
2. ________________________________ Forgives ___________________________________ (Eat)
Matthew 26:20-25
20 When it was evening, he reclined at table with the twelve. 21 And as they were eating, he said, "Truly, I say to
you, one of you will betray me." 22 And they were very sorrowful and began to say to him one after another, "Is it I,
Lord?" 23 He answered, "He who has dipped his hand in the dish with me will betray me. 24 The Son of Man goes as
it is written of him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been better for that
man if he had not been born." 25 Judas, who would betray him, answered, "Is it I, Rabbi?" He said to him, "You have
said so."
Matthew 26:26-29
26 Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said,
"Take, eat; this is my body." 27 And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, "Drink
of it, all of you, 28 for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. 29 I
tell you I will not drink again of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's
kingdom."

John 17:20
20 “I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word,
1
John 17:9-10
9 I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours.
10 All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them.
John 17:15-17
15 I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of
the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.
John 17:20
20 “I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word,
John 17:25-26
25 O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent
me. 26 I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have
loved me may be in them, and I in them."
Romans 8:34-35
34 Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand
of God, who indeed is interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or
distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?
