After some very difficult news given to the disciples, Jesus follows up with the words, "Let not your hearts be troubled." Then, Jesus gives specific reasons the disciple's hearts should not be troubled. Those same reasons given to the discples are the same reasons our hearts should not be troubled even in our troubling circumstances.
