Today we are going to get real practical

Today we are going to ask the question how has Jesus changed your life

But first let’s go to the book of Luke and read why we celebrate today!

Bible Passage

Luke 24:1–7 NLT

But very early on Sunday morning the women went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared. They found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance. So they went in, but they didn’t find the body of the Lord Jesus. As they stood there puzzled, two men suddenly appeared to them, clothed in dazzling robes. The women were terrified and bowed with their faces to the ground. Then the men asked, “Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive? He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Remember what he told you back in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and that he would rise again on the third day.”

I want to get really practical

Because when Jesus changes your life, you start living different

How has Jesus changed your life?

Jesus is alive and the proof is standing before you

And I’m sure I could go around this room and hear so many more answers to the question of how has Jesus changed your life

It’s those answers that compel us to ask certain questions today

If we all could stand while I ask these questions

First, If Jesus has changed your life, are you living like it?

Fruit of the spirit

Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-Control

Simple, if these are a part of your life then yes you are living like Jesus changed your life.

If not, then turn around, and go back, and let Jesus change your life again

Reality is we need to return to him over and over and over again

Because we aren’t perfect, and we need him everyday

We can’t walk through this world alone and survive

We live in a dying world

The verse that sticks out the most to me

Luke 24:5 “The women were terrified and bowed with their faces to the ground. Then the men asked, “Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive?”

So many walk through this world looking for answers among the dead

We seek out hope and life among distractions, addictions, and other broken people

My question to those that are here today and this is the first you’ve heard of Jesus, or you have never truly given your life over to him.

Why are you looking among the dead for life?

Jesus is alive, and he wants to change your life.

Today is the day of salvation

If you are ready for a change, then come, come to those standing down here whose lives have been changed and they will share with you how yours can be changed too
