Location: Fitzgerald Residence at 501 Skeenah Gap Road, Suches, GA 30572
Introduction
With great joy we come together to this place in the presence of our wonderful Lord and in the company of these witnesses to join together this man, Perry Anthony Fitzgerald, and this woman, Grace Baldisanso Garcines, in holy matrimony. Marriage is commended by Paul to be honorable among all, and therefore it is not to be entered into unadvisedly or lightly, but reverently, discreetly, advisedly, and in the fear of God. Your presence here indicates your desire to establish a marital relationship, and we ask God to bless this occasion with His presence and to pave the pathway of this couple with His goodness and grace.
Prayer
In the Bible we are taught that marriage was originated in the divine wisdom and goodness of God. It is designed to promote human happiness and holiness. This rite is the foundation of home life and social order and must be so until the end of time.
Marriage was sanctioned and honored by the presence and power of Jesus at the marriage feast in Cana of Galilee and marked the beginning of His miraculous works. It is declared, therefore, and so ordained, that a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife, and the two of them shall become one flesh—united in all of the hopes, aims, sentiments, and interests of this life.
Therefore, the husband, as the head of the wife should love her even as Christ also loves the church. The wife also must be in subjection to her own husband in the Lord, even as the church is meant to be in subjection to Christ. Therefore, two people thus united should love each other, be faithful one to the other, assist each other mutually, and never forsake each other.
Vows
Let me encourage you to remember that marriage is more than a contract, it is a covenant. The vows which you exchange should be shared without any selfish reservations, and they should be kept as a bond of honor. I believe that if you do this, your home will be an abiding joy and security to yourselves and a blessing to others.
Perry, will you have this woman, Grace, to be your wedded wife, to live together after God’s ordinance in the holy estate of matrimony? Will you love her, honor her, and care for her, and through the grace of God prove yourself unto her in every respect a faithful husband so long as you both shall live? If this is the desire of your heart, then answer I will.
Response: I will.

Will you love him, honor him, and be subject unto him in the Lord, and through the grace of God prove yourself unto him in every respect a faithful wife so long as you both shall live? If this is your desire, then answer I will.

Exchange of Rings
Now we come to the time for the giving and the receiving of the rings. From time immemorial, the ring has been used as an enduring evidence of good will and friendship. The golden circlet which is the most prized of all treasures has come to have its greatest prestige in the symbolic significance it vouches at the altar of marriage. Here untarnishable material and unique form become the precious tokens of the pure and abiding qualities of the ideal marital estate.
Perry, place this ring upon Grace’s finger and repeat after me:
With this ring I thee wed. With loyal love I thee endow and all my worldly goods with thee I share, in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

The Pronouncement
Now, for as much as Perry and Grace have consented together in holy wedlock and have witnessed the same before God and this company, and since they have pledged their vows each to the other and have declared the same by giving and receiving rings and by joining hands, I pronounce that they are husband and wife in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen. “What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder” (Mark 10:9).
The groom may kiss the bride.
Presentation
(The bride and groom turn to face the guests.)
I now present to you Mr. and Mrs. Perry Anthony Fitzgerald.
