Stay by the Cross 4-10-22

Or we sure your word. Father. I pray that you would just begin to touch hearts and lies bother. Those are listening online. I pray that you walk into those homes Lord, and the chief minister to them. Father, in the name of Jesus, Lord of this church. And as we have already prayed for some of those people today, don't bother. I pray that you would begin to put together that you'd begin the minister in the midst of these needs. And the hearts and minds of these people. I'm praying for physical healing time, pray for financial blessing, my praying, God to it. Put back together with the enemy is trying to destroy in the name of Jesus. And Lord. We thank you for this service in the name of Jesus. Praise God. Breakout, aren't you thankful for all our Lord and savior did for us on that cross? Praise God. This being Palm Sunday. If we really think about the price of his pay for our Salvation is exciting. It's exciting. This is such a special time of year today is I said the Palm Sunday next Sunday is Easter in in this time of year, especially this time of year causes us to reflect back and think about all that. Our Lord and Saviour did and went through that last week upon that hit this Earth. He went through so many things upon this Earth that last week and I'm so thankful that you stayed the course, and he did all that he did. And today, I want to bring your attention to that day that Jesus was on the cross. And, you know, we live in a world where so many things are coming at us in We need to stay by the cross. We need to stay close to the Cross. No matter what comes our, what goes we need to stay by the cross and I'm going to be reading this morning from John chapter 19, and we're going to begin reading the first number 25. It says you're the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his mother Sister Mary, the wife of cleopas and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus saw his mother there in the disciple, whom he loved standing nearby. He said to her woman, here is your son. Father, we thank you.

We thank you, Lord, and I just believe God that you want to do so many great things in this community in this church, and I'm praying for other from this day forward. Is this Easter time. Father, that I'm praying it from this time forward. Father, it all by the outpouring of Revival would happen in our homes and our church in this community. And in our world, father. We thank you for the cross. The price that was paid upon that cross for us because you loved you loved it. You took Everything upon you from me. And for each one of us. Another thing for your commitment to the Lord, Jesus Christ, to be genuine, Gabriel in the day of compromise. That we are living in. It's one thing to stand and be counted as a church, member, and church on Sunday morning, but it's quite another thing to be counted. As a dedicated uncompromising committed, child of God, then we'll stand up and say, I love the Lord Jesus Christ, and it's your following him on Monday morning or Tuesday, or Friday. When things are so hard and when things are so difficult on your job or wherever you might be. I don't want to tell you this morning. Whoever you might be in this service or listening online. There's going to be those times. There will come along at one time or another, when your stand if you would stand for the Lord. It's sooner or later. I promise you no matter what state you take sooner or later. There's going to be somebody that's going to come by and they're going to laugh at you. They're going to mock you and take your crazy for your commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ. And whether you stay steadfast in that, given our or whether you bolt and run is going to make a great deal of difference in eternity. There was hundreds of the gathered around Jesus said different time, there is hundreds and even thousands that had gathered around him throughout his life and now there's only $5 or less standing there at that Crossing day. There is no sin, has been there and it for the fish sandwich. Has been there to see all the miraculous Sakura and the Miracles that happened, they were there for all the good things. When it seems like the Miracles of Siege? There has been those times when the miracle seems like they had stopped all around me. I want to tell you, we need to stay close to Jesus that might come down to that time when you feel like God is nowhere around and there's nobody anywhere inside to encourage you and you feel like you're just barely hanging on, but I want to tell you when that day and hour. Come if you grabbed hold of what Havoc said, it doesn't make any difference. If I have material blessings or not. He said it doesn't make any difference. If the cows are being milked. It doesn't make any difference at the shells of The Root Cellar or be filled with with fruit or not. It isn't making any difference. If my bank account is flourishing because I'm going to rejoice in the god of my salvation. I want to tell you something, this morning. We need to determine in our hearts and lies that we're going to hold on. We're going to grab hold and hang on. Even if it comes down to persecution. We need to find ourselves at the base of the cross of Jesus Christ holding onto his nails, cut, not giving in to this world. I was going to give you my opinion of that discrepancy, but the fact of the matter is many of the people that you expected to stand. And what I mean by that is if there are many that as long as they are under the spotlight and as long as they're being paraded across the stage in a certain situation where they might be noticed, it's fine. I'm not saying anything that's all wrong. I'm just saying it's not real. I'm just saying it's not real. I can tell you where God's real heroes are where God's real people are that are full of faith that are there at the foot of the cross. They are at the altar praying with someone that is struggling to make it another day there. Leading someone in Jesus Christ on their job, on Monday morning or Thursday afternoon, or whenever God has given them an opportunity for them to tell somebody about Jesus, and we need to tell somebody about Jesus. They're the one that is standing at the foot of the cross of Calvary, not giving in, and not giving up through all the criticism and fault-finding finished on their way. We need to be faithful to God. Where we ever, we are in our lives do matter. What comes or what goes? Don't matter what the report might be no matter what, the doctor has said. We need to stay faithful to God. We got to be at the base of the Cross holding on to his nail scarfie. This is what we must find ourselves. This is what we have to find ourselves. When all the shouting has died down with all the parade is over with, when all the Heat's clothes are put away. Where will you be there or be stopped? I'm sure that will not be back near The Cross until Christmas time. I'm just going to tell you today. I'm just going to be blunt here today. If you're going to make it at the Rapture of the church. It's going to take more of a commitment in the fashion parade. It's going to take more than just showing after church on Sunday morning. If we want to see Jesus. We have got to be found across. We got to stay at the cross. We're going to have to stay close to Jesus.

And I want you to know, nobody's going to force you to stay. Nobody's going to force you to stay. There are those who would tell you that you can live. Anyway, you want to and still make it to heaven? Will? I hope? They're right because I fear for some people and if they're wrong and I want you to hear me on this. I want you to listen to me on this if they're wrong. It will cost an eternity. It's just that simple. It's going to cost them a tourney. I thank God for those that have decided that they are going to follow Jesus for those who have made up their mind and they are going to stay at the cross. When is fashionable, and when it's not fashionable, when the spotlight is on them and when it's not on them for that one, that is at the cross. When I seen that, they are out there in the middle of this, on the back side of nowhere for that. Child of God. I can tell you with a trumpet sound, will be no doubt. They will leave the ground, and they're going to meet Jesus in the air. Hallelujah. It's time to make a Your mind and make a commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and be true to him. Don't back down just because the road gets tough. Don't backup because it gets hard. Don't give me a because it gets difficult at times. Just keep shouting. The Victory church. We need to keep shout the victory. Keep living for Jesus, keep walking with Kim. Keep trusting him. We need to be committed and stay, it's across till it's all over. I want you to understand something church. We don't have to fear tomorrow. I know there's all kinds of things going on and there's there's things happen, every front on every side without we don't have to figure tomorrow because Jesus holds our hand and he'll see us through. I'm not telling you that we need to stick your head in the sand and not be concerned about was taking place your role. But what I am saying is we don't have to live in fear. We don't have to. I want to read something here today that I I read some time ago. That really made me think about some things as are renting. It says, I'm a part of the Fellowship of the other thing. I have the Holy Spirit are the die has been cast. I stepped over the line. The decision has been made. I am a disciple of his, I won't look back. Let us slow down back away or be still. My past is redeem. My presence makes sense. My future is secure on finished and done with low living site. Walking smoothies. Probably free paid version. Worldly, talk is cheap, giving and pork. Goes. I no longer need cream of his Prosperity position promotion to popularity. I don't have to be right first top recognize pray regarding or rewarded. I now live by faith leaning is present walking by patience and look it up by prayer. Flavor with power. My face is set. My gain is past. My goal is having my road is narrow my way from my companions. Few, my God, reliable my mission. Clear. I cannot be bought compromised, turned away, turn back, the looted or delayed. I will not punch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate to the presence of the enemy Potter, at the pool of popularity or Banner in the Maze of mediocrity. I won't shut up. Shut up, or give up until I stayed up door. Pray that Prince died for the cause of Christ. I am a disciple of Jesus. I must go to lie comes, give till I drop tell till all know and work till we stop and when it comes for his own, I don't have no problem after recognizing me because my van will be clearer, praise God. I pray that is your Anthem Church. Church, I want his anointing. They cannot be bought with a price. I want his checks. They cannot be attained by worldly favor. I want his glory down in my soul. And in my heart that cannot be attained nowhere, but it's a base of the cross of Jesus Christ. And I can tell you that, if you make that kind of a commitment Church to stay at the cross, he will have to wonder when that truck would sound that. You're going to see Jesus or not. I promise you. I wish I could tell you that. You'll never have a struggle. I wish I could tell you that we're never going to have our struggle. I wish I could tell you that. You never have a hard shift. It just stay by the cross. I wish I could tell you. That's the way it would be, but that simply is not true. I cannot explain to you. Why, some of you have had to walk through the valley of the shadow of death are heartbroken. I can't tell you, but I can't tell you this, man. I can't tell you. Search for if you'll stay by the prom, everybody has left.

You might not understand it, but it works. It works. It does work. It is our hope and ended. Our stay there is not going to be no blacker day. There's not going to be no worse day than that day. For those, it was at the cross. The one that they had. Hope would be the Messiah, and the deliverer is now on the cross. It had to be a terrible time. Had to be a difficult time and now there's only five think about it. There's only find it was standing at the cross that day for women and one, man is all there. Once that's all there. They put their faith and trust in God and said we cannot, and we will not leave, you think about John the Baptist Church.

He was in jail. He was in jail. There was not a man more dedicated. They said he fasted to the point of starvation. He lived a totally separated, like John the Baptist. You might remember. I was born to older parents with me. He was probably orphan before he was very old at all. He did not have the pleasure in the comfort of his mother to raise him, do adults. Aged. He did not have a dad to to hold his hand and introduce him into the ministry. He lived in the cave in the Rock, totally, separated, and dedicated to God. He was a straightforward preacher that called Sin Sin and we need more preachers in a do that today. He was straightforward and His holy as he could be, but I find him in a jail cell running away and about to be killed. And he got a little down in the dumps like any of us would Do you know when we live, right? We feel got on to something when we lived, right? We think we take anything that nothing on a tuchas, but sometimes it does Church. Sometimes it does. And you know Johnson as Messengers to Jesus to ask him if he was the one that we're looking for or should we look for an end. Now it's really interesting than me. Jesus could have given a straightforward answer here. He could have said yes or no, but he didn't, he told Jon's Messengers. He said you go. Tell John what you see. He said you going to let John know what you see are. Seeing tell him that you see the flying being healed. Hallelujah. Tell him. You see the crippled walking. Praise God. You see the deaf. Sufficiently blessed is the man is not offended at what God is doing in this line and he just gets up and it keeps on walk in the power and the anointing of the Holy Spirit bless it. Is that man. Church. When it seems it's as bad as it can get staying at the cross. Stay at the cross. I it doesn't matter what you might be going through your field listing online. And you're at a difficult place. I'm telling you. I'm begging you. Stay at the cross. When there are no Miracles, stay at the cross, when the skies are black in. The report is not good. Stay at the cross. When nothing's going the way it should stay at the cross. Don't give up. Don't give in. I'm not telling you there's not going to be time that you won't feel like hanging your head because of the struggles, but stay at the cross. Just stay at the cross. I'm sure those it was there at the cross. That day was disappointed. I'm sure they was disappointing because they believed he was the Messiah. They believe he was the Messiah and now he's dead and he's gone. Mary in. You think about Mary. I'm sure she run her hands and she was wondering, did I dream it all? Have I been a fool for 33 and a half years to believe it. Angel spoke to me. She was disappointed, but she would not leave. She would not give up. She stayed and she stayed, and she stayed till they took Jesus off that cross. They took Jesus to that tomb for his burial. And Mary went to the place where they had laid Jesus 3 days later. And I'm sure when she got there. I'm sure when we marry got there that day, there was shouting. There was she was shouting and thanking God and she had stayed at the cross. Did she did not give up and she did not leave. Others had given up, but she did not leave. I'm sure she was disappointed. That day. It's a cross. I'm sure she would trouble by the circumstances that were surrounding her three days earlier. There's no doubt, but she stayed at the cross. She did not stop. She did not give in, like, I can assure you, if you'll trust Jesus. If you stay true to him, if you stay by the cross, it will work out. Get workout matter. How disappointed, no matter how black the sky is. No matter how hurt you are. If the devil tells you that you're a fool, just stay at the cross. Now. I told you a little earlier that I give you my opinion of what Matthew Mark, and Luke said about Mary Magdalene and Mary, the wife of clue cleopas, not being that number at the cross. When John said that they was there. I don't know the Deep theology behind it all but I'll give you my assessment of what might have happened.

I don't know, but maybe Mary Magdalene the other very walked wanted to stay, but it just got to be too much for them and they ran back to the crowd. That was standing way up on the hill and saw that they was that in that crowd. I'm sure these ladies did not want to be apart of that crap. Soleil. They ran back to the Cross, but maybe it just got to be hard and they was back with the crowd again and Mark. And loose all then, in that crowd. It was Dana far off. And I know they knew they needed to be back at the cross. They knew they needed to stay at the cross. They went back. It had to be hard for them. It had to be difficult. It had to be a trying time for them. So it had to be a difficult time. It had to be hard. John had his head down and he looked up and said, I saw them. He said I saw them kneeling at the cross. He said there was very Magdalene and Mary, the wife cleopas. And you know, church over the years, I seen some Precious Precious people who come to the Altar and giving their heart to the Lord and then some time later, they were living in life of compromise. But they have enough a guy that they're not happy, living that kind of life, but they're not happy living for God either, and their back and forth in and out, back and forth, in and out. I don't advise that. I don't advise that. I truly don't advise that because you're going to be miserable trying to live that way. If you got away church. I'm telling you, if you got away from the cross, if you got away from the Lord is time to give it to God. It's time to come home. It's time to give it to him. You may have got wounded by someone. You loved or even by someone in the church. You may have been disappointed by someone that you trust it. And when I want to tell you today is stay by the cross, stay at the cross and give it to God. Give it to God no matter how hurt you got, no matter how difficult it's been. It might not have been your fault that you have. Somebody come against you but stay at the cross forget get them to forgiveness. I want to tell you, forgiveness is so important.

You know, I understand all the pressures that come from the enemy, I get that, I understand the peer pressure, and Ash and the pressures of our time, but if you stay at the crossed. You will make it, you will make it if you're staying at the cross, if you trust God and stay close to him. I promise, you hear me on this. I promise you through eternity. You're going to be glad that she stayed. You're going to be glad that you stay, I'm telling you Church. Those in a listing online. I'm telling you. Jesus is coming back. The word of God and told us over and over again.
