This is the week we ponder Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. He rode on a donkey as people cheered Him on not even knowing who He was. People lifted their eyes and voices with hope in their hearts for better days. All the while being a nation held captive by Rome. In the trying times we live in today, we can still look up to the Son of God for hope and peace in disparaging times, remembering that our time on earth is temporary and infinitesimal compared to the eternity we’ll experience when our time on earth ends. Whether we spend eternity in the presence of God or apart from Him is a choice offered to those that don’t know Jesus and a mission for those who do. If you have hope, share it. If you don’t, seek it.
