Put It Back

Text: Luke 5:4-5

Luke 5:4–5 ESV

And when he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” And Simon answered, “Master, we toiled all night and took nothing! But at your word I will let down the nets.”

Introduction: Its been months and months since I last preached, and this entire time almost, I’ve been putting together a sermon. Well, literally a few weeks ago when they told me it would be my turn. God told me to say a certain thing, so I tried and tried to fit it into the lesson I already had. But it just didn’t make sense, so I took it out. Well God then told me, PUT IT BACK! So I finally asked God if this is what he wanted me to say then show me how to fit it in my sermon. So then he just scraped everything I had and gave me a new title and brand new points. So what I am preaching today is exactly what God wanted me to preach. So I’ve said all that to say this, if you don’t like it. Take it up with God not me. Lol
