introduction
as we start in this course we need to start in the basic foundations of scripture. and look st the scriptures who can prophecy

What is the purpose of prophetic ministry
eagerly desire spiritual gifts.
God wants us to be spiritual people! God wants us to walk with him in a close TWO WAY relationship, not only in dry scriptures rules and regulations but in harmony and balance as human beings. We are spiritual beings in a body. Not a body with a spirit.
our human body is temporary but our spirit is eternal.
When we understand that we are first spiritual beings - it is much easier to have understanding of the spiritual world. Paul prayed in the book of Ephesians prayers that we would pray often. I pray that your eyes are enlightened. so you gain wisdom and revelation to know God so that you would see the Riches of his inheritance for you as a saint.
Lets read.
Not that Paul did not see Knowlegde first. Knowledge can puff up and bind us in the carnal mind. While inspired knowledge is rooted in the revelation speare.
Ephesians 1:14–22 NASB95
14 who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory. 15 For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints, 16 do not cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers; 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might 20 which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22 And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church,
