Introduction
When is the last time we needing/wanting something really bad and you prayed and prayed but it just didnt seem to come.
How many times have you heard, just a little longer or wait for the right time or when it’s meant to be it’s meant to be?
So often we can get so impatient and begin to get frustrated and lost in the process that we forget both the original joy of the blessing and the joy of walking through adventure.
Body
Read Acts 1:4-8
There are times of waiting and times of going
We must make sure we understand the difference in what the time of waiting entailed and what the time of going meant for us
We must also understand with what power and what gifts we were waiting for and what they were intended for once they arrived and bestowed
We must understand the gifts in light of God and in light of what He is trying to accomplish both for us personally and for the world and those around us.
Conclusion
I am talking to myself today as much as I am to anyone else.
So often I get impatient, which leads to frustration, which leads to me seeming unappreciative and ungrateful, and the list goes on until I am someone that is not fun to be around.
I am challenging us today to stay true to the path that God has placed before you and walk it diligently and reverently, knowing with full understanding that He is working all things out for you.
Do not shy away from the lessons taught along the journey that will inevitably strengthen you for the joy and fulfillment that awaits you at the end.
We have Holy Spirit inside of us, we have the greatest power the world has ever seen, we have the love of the Father, we can do all things when we trust and put our faith in Him.
