THE WEEK THAT CHANGED THE WORLD
HOSANN A!
1. ______________________________________________________
John 11:5-11
5 Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. 6 Yet when he heard that Lazarus was sick, he stayed where he
was two more days. 7 Then he said to his disciples, "Let us go back to Judea." 8 "But Rabbi," they said, "a short
while ago the Jews tried to stone you, and yet you are going back there?" 9 Jesus answered, "Are there not twelve
hours of daylight? A man who walks by day will not stumble, for he sees by this world's light. 10 It is when he walks
by night that he stumbles, for he has no light." 11 After he had said this, he went on to tell them, "Our friend
Lazarus has fallen asleep; but I am going there to wake him up."
John 12:1
1 Six days before the Passover, Jesus arrived at Bethany, where Lazarus lived, whom Jesus had raised from the

12 The next day the great crowd that had come for the Feast heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem. 13 They

Matthew 21:2-3
2 saying to them, "Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her.
Untie them and bring them to me. 3 If anyone says anything to you, tell him that the Lord needs them, and he will
send them right away."
Ephesians 2:10
10 For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for
us to do.

John 12:14-15
14 Jesus found a young donkey and sat upon it, as it is written, 15 "Do not be afraid, O Daughter of Zion; see, your
king is coming, seated on a donkey's colt."
Luke 19:28-29
28 After Jesus had said this, he went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem. 29 As he approached Bethphage and Bethany
at the hill called the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples, saying to them,

John 12:16
16 At first his disciples did not understand all this. Only after Jesus was glorified did they realize that these things
had been written about him and that they had done these things to him.
Luke 9:51
51 As the time approached for him to be taken up to heaven, Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem.
Romans 8:29
29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the
firstborn among many brothers.
Matthew 21:4-5
4 This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet: 5 "Say to the Daughter of Zion, 'See, your king
comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.'"

John 12:17-19
17 Now the crowd that was with him when he called Lazarus from the tomb and raised him from the dead
continued to spread the word. 18 Many people, because they had heard that he had given this miraculous sign,
went out to meet him. 19 So the Pharisees said to one another, "See, this is getting us nowhere. Look how the
whole world has gone after him!"
