I. The Need for Transformation:

There is the both the temptation and the tendency to conform to this world

A. Tendency towards sin because we were born and shaped in sin

o Romans 3:10-11 Romans
Romans 3:10–11 ESV
as it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God.
Romans 3:23 ESV
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

B. Temptation to sin because we are living in a fallen world

WHEN PAUL SAYS “Do not be conformed” is stated because there is always the temptation to conform: to the ways, standards, morality and thinking

II. The Aim of Transformation

o This is what worship is:
§ Not simply the singing and the events on Sunday morning
§ Worship is Worth-Ship: ascribing worth to God in every aspect of our lives
· TMA seeks to assist parents in
o teaching our students the gospel of grace etc…
o teaching them Worth-Ship of God: Mental, Physical, Social and Spiritual aspects of their lives
