Transformed By Jesus

2 Corinthians 3:17–18 NKJV
17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Confession of Faith

I am not moved by what I see or by what I feel. I am moved by what I believe. I believe the WORD of God! The victory is mine! I have it now! I can see it through the eyes of my faith! In Jesus Name

Introduction:
Question! Have you noticed something that use to bother you, but it doesn’t bother anymore or as much, because of you walk with Jesus?
There is something special about the relationship we have with Jesus Christ!
There is something special about being in covenant agreement with Jesus Christ
There is a transformative freedom or liberty that brought to my life and your life through Jesus Christ!
Jesus operates in sync with the Holy Spirit - the same way Jesus Operates in sync with God the Father
They work together
God the Father, Jesus his Son, and the Holy Spirit have one mind, one spirit, one being , one purpose and one work
and that results in your freedom and my freedom through salvation!
Now this is the freedom that no man or woman gives to you and no man, no woman, no trial no tribulation can take from you
John 16:14–15 NCV
14 The Spirit of truth will bring glory to me, because he will take what I have to say and tell it to you. 15 All that the Father has is mine. That is why I said that the Spirit will take what I have to say and tell it to you.
To Give us the transformative freedom it requires the Father, and Jesus and the Holy Spirit all involved in showing and revealing salvation to us!
Jesus secured salvation and freedom for you and me
The Holy Spirit is the one who actively revealed the truth about real freedom through salvation to you and me
2 Corinthians 3:17 NCV
17 The Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
Jesus and the Holy Spirit are working together to give us real freedom
Jesus and the Holy Spirit work together to free us from this dominion or control sin has in our lives
Romans 6:14 NLT
14 Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.
Jesus frees us from the struggle of trying to fit our lives in the law
Romans 7:6 NLT
6 But now we have been released from the law, for we died to it and are no longer captive to its power. Now we can serve God, not in the old way of obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way of living in the Spirit.
Galatians 5:18 NKJV
18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
Jesus Frees us from the bondage of fear
Romans 8:15 (NKJV)
15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption…
now I can cry out to my Heavenly Father when things try to rock my world
Jesus frees us from the power Satan has, which is the fear of dying
Hebrews 2:14–15 NLT
14 Because God’s children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death. 15 Only in this way could he set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.
Jesus frees us from the bondage of living corrupt lives
Romans 8:21 NCV
21 that everything God made would be set free from ruin to have the freedom and glory that belong to God’s children.
Romans 8:23 NCV
23 Not only the world, but we also have been waiting with pain inside us. We have the Spirit as the first part of God’s promise. So we are waiting for God to finish making us his own children, which means our bodies will be made free.
Transformed Into The Image Of Christ!
2 Corinthians 3:18 NLT
18 So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.
Because of Jesus we all
meaning those of us - who have turned to Jesus
those of us who have accepted him as our Lord
those of us who have accepted him as savior
are being transformed or changed to His image and His likeness!
It’s like being blindfolded and someone has taken the blind fold off and now you see - really see the truth
So you and I have had the veil removed
You and I stand face to face with the Glory of the Lord!
Because we are now free and have been given the privilege to know and understand Jesus!
We are free from all the stuff in the world and We have the privilege to personally learn all about Jesus!
We have been transformed to experience the splendor of Jesus
We have been transformed to experience the brilliance of Jesus
We have been transformed to experience the excellence of Jesus!
Jesus Christ is the son of God who became a man!
His Glory is the fact that He is the Son of God who became a human just like you and me!
When you grasp that fact - then you understand what he did
He paid the ultimate price, the unbelievable price for my salvation and your salvation
for my freedom and your freedom
John 1:14 NKJV
14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
I admit, because of my limited brain and my flesh it’s hard to grasp the full glory of the Lord!
Because Jesus is an infinite Spirit so it’s like the bible tells us in 1 Cor. 13:12
1 Corinthians 13:12 NLT
12 Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.
2 Corinthians 3:18 (NKJV)
18 But we all, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
So everyday you and I spend time with the Lord,
Every time you and I accept the truth of the Word of God
Every time we apply the What Would Jesus Do to our situation we progress from glory to glory
Every time we do that - we move to a higher stage of glory or understanding of true Freedom
It’s very much like the Song
In The Garden
I come to the garden alone While the dew is still on the roses And the voice I hear, falling on my ear The son of God discloses
And he walks with me And he talks with me And he tells me I am his own And the joy we share as we tarry there None other has ever known
I'd stay in the garden with him Though the night around me is falling But he bids me go Through the voice of woe His voice to me is calling
And he walks with me And he talks with me And he tells me I am his own And the joy we share as we tarry there None other has ever known
And the joy we share as we tarry there None other has ever known
Jesus transforms each of us daily!
Daily we walk with him
Daily we talk with him
Daily we make him our own
Daily allow your life to be Transformed By Jesus!
God Bless you until we meet again
