HIDING IN PLAIN SITE OR I SEE YOU

1 Kings 21:20 KJV (WS)

And Ahab said to Elijah, Hast thou found me, O mine enemy? And he answered, I have found thee: because thou hast sold thyself to work evil in the sight of the Lord.

Hiding in plain site means to be unnoticeable, by staying visible in a setting that masks presence.

Introduction:

There could be many who are present with or listen with us, that are hiding from God because of works they have done or have not done, that no one knows about.

Ahab and Jezebel are two characters you should never model your life from.

Ahab was one of the most wicked kings Isreal ever had.

It is a story about a man who wanted something so bad that he would do anything to achieve his desire, even go along with a plot to kill a holy, righteous innocent.

A man not guilty of a crime or offence. He was not doubt a family man with a wife and kids. His life ended suddenly because he love God and had conviction concerning God laws on inheritance.

In those days such inheritances had been passed on for many generations in the same family and were considered priceless; to part with such was almost like parting with family.

What we have and what we pass on to our children and their children children, is priceless.

Deuteronomy 11:19 KJV (WS)

And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

2. Holiness, righteousness, truth, our pure standards, are we willing to die for what God has given us.

a. He saw Daniel in the Lion den. (Prayer not for sale).

b. He saw Paul and Salas and Steven. (Preaching / Soul winning not for sale).

c. He saw the Hebrew boys. (Holiness not for sale).

4. Or have you sold out the things of God, and hiding in plain site, unknowing to others.

Not For Sale

We need to tell the devil and the world, my inheritance from God is not for sale.

Just When We Think We Have Gotten Away With It

Elijah shows up.

Its like been made at God / Preacher because our sins has come to the light.
