Faith in the future produces power in the present.
They expected a “better resurrection.
What is a “better resurrection?”
1. First, it is a gift of grace.
2. It is more than the life they would have had they renounced their faith.
3. It is a permanent gift.
4. It is a physical renewal.
But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself. -Philippians 3:20-21
5. It is gift that comes with commendation.
Mat_25:23 His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.'
