THE SON HAS SET US FREE

SLIDE 2
John 8:36 NASB95
36 “So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.
Jesus was also saying in this passage “if you continue in My word you are truly My disciples” “You will know the truth and the truth will set you free”
Thus the continuance of knowing Christ, being in His word as a disciple, you will know truth to keep you free.
Jesus had also told the Pharisees and religious leaders, “I know you say you are descendents of Abraham, and you seek to kill me because My word has no place in you”
“I speak the things from My Father and you speak the things from your father”
Lee Strobel (great preacher / author) - atheist, set out to prove there is no resurrection, through his research, mainly in THE WORD OF GOD became a believer a follower of Christ, whom the Son set free indeed and continues free because He has Christ word in him.
The main point of today’s message is to allow the truth of God’s word to make you free or more free than ever before. It may not be a Resurrection Sunday message you may expect but it will be truth of His word and it will make you free.
Because of Jesus - We have the victory!

*Resurrection - overcame death for us
*We continue in faith from victory (not to victory)
