Boaz marries this foreign woman, and redeems her.
We see a foreshadowing of all of mankind in the story of Ruth, because just as she was redeemed we are also redeemed and brought into the family of God.
God takes the unloving foreigner, and pays the debt that is owed due to sin, and welcomes us in as holy and dearly loved children.
