TRUTH
Because God has accepted me in Christ, I, as a man, have significance, sufficiency, and security.
TEXT
OUTLINE
There are three things every man desires and needs...
He desires and needs significance.
He wants to know that his life matters and is making a difference.
He desires and needs sufficiency.
By that, I mean each man seek to be complete in his relationships.
It is how God designed men.
Remember when God created man God noted that man needed a helpmate.
For this reason, men seek out women in an effort to have that complete relationship.
He desires and needs security.
Men want financial security, job security, relationship security.
Every man spends their entire life chasing these three things.
Unfortunately, many do not find what they are looking for.
Here is the reality!
The Key to Knowing These Three Thing is...
Ephesians 1:1 (KJV 1900)
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:
Jesus Christ is the key to knowing true significance, sufficiency, and security.
Man today are like an elephant chained to a stake.
As part of their training, baby elephants are chained to a stake in the ground.
The baby pulls and struggles to break the chain, but due to their small size, they are unable to break free.
Eventually the elephant gives up trying.
Regardless of their HUGE size and ABILITY to free themselves-they are held back by their FALSE BELIEF that they CAN’T break free from the tiny little chain.
This is true about men as well.
They believe that cannot break free from their upbringing, their education, or their lot in life.
They feel chained to so many things.
Yet, the truth is that men can be set free.
Even believers live, at times, thinking that they are still chained up and unable to break free.
However, Scripture is quite clear that any who put their faith in Christ are free from the chains of sin.
