“THE RESURRECTION BODY QUESTION”
1 Corinthians 15

“The resurrection is the true center of our theological universe. We can’t have Christianity without the resurrection. We cannot be united to a dead Savior!” - Rhyne Putman -
The resurrection of Christ and the resurrection of the dead stand or fall together.
1. If Christ has not been raised:
• Our preaching is useless v. 14
• Your faith is useless v. 14
• We are false witnesses v. 15
• Your faith is futile v. 17
• You are still in your sins v. 17
• Believers who have died are lost v. 18
• We are to be pitied for misplaced hope v. 19
• There is no new resurrection body.
2. But Christ has been raised!
• Preaching is of value!
• Your faith is of value!
• We are true witnesses!
• Your faith is effective!
• You are forgiven & freed from sin!
• Believers who have died live on!
• We are to be taken seriously!
• There will be a new resurrection body.
