We have talked a lot about spiritual authority, binding, loosing, demonic spirits and angels in the past few months.
The talk has been of territories, plans of attack and dominion...
I definitely want to continue in that mode here today.
I have been teaching on the ministry of angels and this is a continuation of that.
Although it may or may not seem that away.
I want to talk to you about the greatest hindrance to experiencing the ministry of angels and the operation of spiritual authority.
I actually want to talk to you about The Most Dangerous Place To Be.
I have taught to you about spiritual strongholds, territories and dominion.
That applies not only to a geographical location but to your life as well.
There are territories, or strongholds, in your life that are just as important to bring under submission and jurisdictional authority.
FACT: Many of the strongholds that you have in your life will coincide with the strongholds of the spiritual jurisdiction you grew up in along with those that you have spent the most time in.
You must identify these strongholds and bring them under dominion.
Categories or divisions of spiritual authority
Principalities - rule of a prince of a small or subordinate state (dictionary.com),
beginning of something, some action or state of being
You are the prince of your own body, life
Powers - state or condition of lack of moral or social values, wickedness, baseness, maliciousness, sinfulness
If it is not hard enough to bring the principality of my life under the proper authority, we now move into outside influences influencing us to do immoral, wicked, base, malicious, sinful things
Regional
Principalities and powers is about personal and local influence.
Rulers of the Darkness of this World - national sin, perversion, wickedness, baseness, maliciousness and sinfulness
National - destruction of nations
Spiritual Wickedness in High Places - World-wide sin, perversion, wickedness, baseness, maliciousness and sinfulness
World wide - destruction of the world
Your battles will parallel the local principality and regional power you live in.
Just like our region will parallel the National Ruler of the Darkness of this World’s plan and our nation will follow the the Spirit of Wickedness’ plan to destroy the world!
You individual and familial struggles with parallel that principalities of an area and the church struggles will parallel that powers of an area.
This is why so much world hates us...
We are different.
This is why Europe want us to be like them - even as Europe is a failure.
This is why there is a push here to be European even as the system of Europe are diminishing and failing.
Because the spiritual takeover by the antichrist will take place there, it’s the seat of power!
This is why the family is under such attack!
We are different.
It behoves us to understand the region - spiritual jurisdiction - that we live in so that we fulfil the will and purpose of God and stop the spirit of the antichrist!
What is God’s plan?
You to master yourself - principality
Master your family
When you and your family is right the Church is right!
When the church is right, it can move from dealing with the principality and powers to regional, national and even world wide spritual wickedness in high places!
Say again:
As the region comes under spiritual jurisdiction, churches come together to deal with more and more regions until a nation is changed!
When nations change, it shifts the balance of power and the spirit of the antichrist is put down.
So what is the principalities and powers that we deal with here.
Tradition (false doctrine)
Moses and Eliza Merrill - first missionaries - opened a mission school for the Oto and Missouri Indians in 1833 - Baptist Missionary Union
Trinitarian doctrine got its fool-hold.
Since then catholic, lutheran and methodist have done there worse
Bind false doctrine and release truth
Is a spirit trying to divide some from truth - guard against
Apathy
Laziness and contentment
Contentment is where this region struggles, not laziness
OK with status quo - home of the good life
Football is not the god of Nebraska, contentment is - which is why people will take a whole day of their life in the fall and do nothing but watch football.
Reason why it took me 10 years to deal with the state of this building… contentment… don’t mess with what going on!
Bind apathy and release that passion of the Holy Ghost and Spiritual contentment
Stubbornness
This can be both good and bad
When it’s good it’s called faithfulness
When it’s bad it’s called stubbornness
First Nebraskans moved here in mass post civil war and built farms and ranches with no help from anyone but themselves and their families and maybe a neighbor or two.
Died of hardship, child birth, snack bite, decease, Indian attack… went crazy from loneliness and heartache
Put something deep into their spirits that we will make it no matter what
That can be good if you are stubborn in the right thing - faithful!
It is the most dangerous place to be in you are not - stubbornness!
Bind stubbornness and release spirit of righteousness and a hunger for the things of God
I guarantee that many of you are sitting here thinking, I am not stubborn!
I come from the Show Me State.
And I say that Nebraskans can teach the advance course to the most stubborn Show Me Missourian ever born!
Conclusion: You have to search and then guard your spirit!
