And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. • Luke 17:20–21 (NIV) — 20 Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, 21 nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.” • The Kingdom Of God Is Where God’s Will Is Done. THE KEYS TO THE KINGDOM Entrance into the Kingdom Requires Being “Born Again” •John 3:3 (NIV) — 3 In reply Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.” • John 3:5 (NIV) — 5 Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and (EVEN) the Spirit. • John 3:7 (NIV) — 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ THE KEYS TO THE KINGDOM Mark 12:34 (NIV) — 34 When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” And from then on no one dared ask him any more questions. •We Want Not Just To Be Near The Kingdom Of God •But To Be In It -- To Acknowledge Him As Lord · To Repent And Turn To Him—with Our Lives · To Confess Sin · To Receive His New Life By Faith
