How we ask for Signs When we really Don't Want to obey.

We share the same intransigence to God. We want signs and miracles before we do what God is telling us to do. To move things to prove things before we move forward. Jordan and Lebron Debate. She can't sing live? I need to hear her sing it live. When we don't cut for folk, we ask for miracles that we hope they can't produce.

When You knock the $2,000 years of dust off the original claim of Christianity, you will find this: a man named Jesus was brutally snuffed out by state-sponsored terrorists and after parts of three days later, he came back from the dead in human form and spent about 50 days telling people about it convincing people to follow him and his way to life.

He says that miracle is enough!!!!! For 2000 years we've been celebrating that sign.

(1). You need to believe in a RESURRECTION MINDSET

In these uncertain times I'm comforted because the Real God smiles at a dead marriage, a dead relationship, a dead body, because He doesn't specialize at keeping a thing from dying, but taking dead things and making them alive to never die again. Not a colonial mindset, not aneo-colonial mindset. Not stinkin thining. But Resurrection. Because Jesus Lives I can Face tomorrow.

(2). You need to believe in a RESURRECTION HEARTBEAT

A new heart. You've got to forgive as you've been forgiven. To forgive is to believe that you can let go of the old because God is doing something new.

3.You need to believe in A RESURRECTION BODY

A resurrection body doesn't just mean a renewed body, it means systems and structures can change. The poor will become rich and the rich will become poor. Jesus is building resurrection community here. Jesus is building resurrection community out there. Justice, Fairness, equality are all values

This is what it means to repent, to live as if Jesus beat death and is running things right now. Repentance is Hope.
