Jehovah Rapha - The Lord who Heals
When God heals people they believe - it’s a sign, not a reward for right living.

Laborers ordained because of compassion

Sick multitude healed because of compassion

Blindness healed because of compassion

Leprosy healed because of compassion

Devils cast out because of compassion

We are commanded to heal

Jesus Healed Them All

We Are To Be Like Jesus

Ephesians 3:14–19 NLT

Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power

Knowledge has not ceased

Philippians 1:9–11 NLT

Be Bold

Philippians 1:20–23 NLT

Why should I care about Miracles and Healing?

Philippians 2:1–5 NLT
1 Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? 2 Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose. 3 Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. 4 Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. 5 You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.
Philippians 2:13 NLT
13 For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.

You can live holy and pure lives!

Philippians 2:14–15 NLT
14 Do everything without complaining and arguing, 15 so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people.

Don’t render your teacher’s work worthless - be an offering to God and share in joy

Philippians 2:16–18 NLT
16 Hold firmly to the word of life; then, on the day of Christ’s return, I will be proud that I did not run the race in vain and that my work was not useless. 17 But I will rejoice even if I lose my life, pouring it out like a liquid offering to God, just like your faithful service is an offering to God. Most Christians care only for themselves

Are you a brother, co-worker, and fellow soldier?

Philippians 2:25–26 ESV
25 I have thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus my brother and fellow worker and fellow soldier, and your messenger and minister to my need, 26 for he has been longing for you all and has been distressed because you heard that he was ill.

God healed Epaphroditius

Philippians 2:27 ESV
27 Indeed he was ill, near to death. But God had mercy on him, and not only on him but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.

You can become one with God

Philippians 3:8–9 NLT
8 Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ 9 and become one with him. I no longer count on my own righteousness through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through faith in Christ. For God’s way of making us right with himself depends on faith.

Do you want to know his power and suffering?

Philippians 3:10–11 NLT
10 I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death, 11 so that one way or another I will experience the resurrection from the dead!

Paul fully expected to reach perfection

Philippians 3:12–16 NLT
12 I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. 13 No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. 15 Let all who are spiritually mature agree on these things. Don’t worry tell God if you need to be healed or need a miracle

His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. 8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

Do everything Paul did - even miracles

Doing all things and supplying all needs would require healing and miracles
