Who is this King of Glory - the King who changes us

What is our memory Verse!?

John 14:6 NIV

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

We have been asking Who is this king of glory, just like

Psalm 24:8 NIV

Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

Last time we talked about God as the King of Love. This week - This King of Glory is all about change.

God is able to change us. He draws us near to him and gives us new life.

In the book of Ezekiel long before Jesus comes God promises that he will give us a new heart and put a new spirit in us.

Ezekiel 36:26 NIV

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

We are not perfect people. We’re not even good people. With everything we try to do we can’t be good enough. That’s why God has to make us into new creatures like it said in

2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

When we are saved we respond by loving God, and loving others.
