REVIEW

The Lord’s prayer, really, it’s the disciples prayer as he was teaching them how to pray. It was a model, not a recitation.
Matthew 6:7 KJV 1900
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Matthew 6:7 TPT
7 When you pray, there is no need to repeat empty phrases, praying like those who don’t know God, for they expect God to hear them because of their many words.
Matthew 6:7 The Message
7 “The world is full of so-called prayer warriors who are prayer-ignorant. They’re full of formulas and programs and advice, peddling techniques for getting what you want from God.

a. Yourself and your family (mate, children, other family members).
b. Your church (pastor, leadership, faithfulness of people, harvest of souls).
c. Your nation (city, state and national political and spiritual leaders, harvest of souls).
d. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Ps. 122:6).

4. GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD

a. Be in the will of God (prayer life, church, work habits, obedience in giving).

Malachi 3:10 NLT
10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!

b. Believe God wants to meet your needs; to be your source of provision.

Philippians 4:19 TPT
19 I am convinced that my God will fully satisfy every need you have, for I have seen the abundant riches of glory revealed to me through the Anointed One, Jesus Christ!

c. Put your needs in the hands of your Father; be specific!

Philippians 4:6 TPT
6 Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life,

5. AND FORGIVE US OUR DEBTS AS WE FORGIVE OUR DEBTORS

a. Ask God to search your heart.
Psalm 139:23–24 NLT
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. 24 Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.

b. Forgive and release others - as an act of your will, choose to forgive those who sin against you.

Matthew 6:15 NLT
15 But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.

6. AND LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION, BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL

a. Put on the whole armor of God (Put on the Lord Jesus Christ
1. Loins girded about with TRUTH
2. Breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS
3. Feet shod with the PREPATION (READINESS) OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE
4. Shield of FAITH
5. Helmet of SALVATION
6. Sword of the Spirit, which is the WORD OF GOD
Ephesians 6:10–18 NLT
10 A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. 12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. 14 Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. 15 For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. 16 In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. 17 Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.

b. Pray a hedge of protection around yourself and your family. (The Lord is your refuge, your fortress).

Psalm 91 NLT
1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. 3 For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. 4 He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. 5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. 6 Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. 7 Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. 8 Just open your eyes, and see how the wicked are punished. 9 If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, 10 no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. 11 For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. 12 They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. 13 You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet! 14 The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. 15 When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. 16 I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.”

7. FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM, THE POWER AND THE GLORY FOREVER

End as you began, by praising and worshipping your “Abba Father” (Daddy God) who makes you whole and meets all your needs.
Isaiah 53:5 AMP
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.
