THE DREAM (DAN 2:31-35)

There stands a statue
Head is made of gold.
Chest and arms are made of silver.
Abdomen and thighs are made of bronze.
Legs are made of iron.
Feet are made of iron mixed with clay.
A stone strikes the statue and it disintegrates.
The stone becomes a mountain filling the earth.

THE INTERPRETATION (DAN 2:36-45)

Head of Gold = Babyon
Chest/Arms of Silver = Persia
Abdomen/Thighs of Bronze = Greece
Legs of Iron = Rome
Feet of Iron/Clay = Modern Nations
Rock = Messiah
Mountain = Messianic Kingdom

RESOLUTION

Nebuchadnezzar realizes that God is “Lord of kings”
