My name is Matthew Vitt and I am excited to share about myself and family.
I am from Los Angeles CA.
I come from a broken home.
My mom and dad divorced when I was 9 years old.
My dad was an alcoholic and my mom had to work 3 jobs to support my older sister and I.
I got saved in a youth group from atheism at the age of 15.
I was discipled, invested in and plugged into ministry, becoming a helper in the youth group I was saved in.
I fell in love with Jesus and wanted to learn more about him deeper.
That led me to go to bible college to study His word in depth.
I met my wife who was going to a seminary that met on the bible college campus I attended.
I found the best, most like-minded person to do life with, who loves God’s word as much as I do.
I always had a passion for youth ministry, because I was saved in youth, and raising up the next generation.
With this, the Lord led me to Nyssa Oregon to be an associate pastor focused mainly on the youth ministry.
The Lord taught me a bunch there, and it was amazing to invest in the youth and their community.
Since then, the Lord has blessed my wife and I with 3 kids.
My son, and 2 twin girls.
We have experienced God’s grace through various trials with health problems with my kids, but the Lord has been so good.
We are now seeking our next step and season in youth ministry.
I want to equip the next generation in inductive bible study, sermons, fellowship, evangelism, and staying connected to church to be the next church leaders.
